Still trying to figure out what to do for her weapon thing, and the foreground.. the grass is too empty I think, but I'm not sure what to do with it. Hmmm.

I don't share the foreground worry. In fact, like your knight piece - my attention is firmly drawn to her face. That may be as it's just more polished, but has to be a desirable thing.. right?
As for the halberd; the axe head could be larger perhaps - really using that space below where it sits currently (like a long letter 'J' / scythe-like). Or, could rust it up a bit and take some chunks out of it. The weapon itself having some story behind it, or indication of use and experience.. as is suggested by the warrior herself? Up to you.. I think she's working, so far.

Well that's good! As long as it worksgood idea with the axe head, I'll have to do something out of the ordinary for it for sure.
update to show where I'm at with the devil card. Feeling kind of stuck with the colors. No idea what to do with the backgroundeugh, tomorrow's another day.
Regarding the border, I also like the last proposed design and think our cards should share it. What about making it a different color for each card though?
Still working on them.. here's the knight so far
AG, I think what you have in the background is fine already, just needs making more.. extreme and hellish! Maybe it's just my monitor, but the orange of the flame he's holding seems dull.. maybe push the oranges and yellows all round?

I'm happy with the cups dude now, unless you spot anything ugly / 'wrong'?

I've just sent a resized .psd with the border to you, Liz via email. It's 3mb, 800 pixels high...

Nice job on the cups guy! Love the smoke and the blood especially!
And Liz, everything was dull there, cause I quickly color layered some colors. He'll get there soon.
Slayer, certainly hope you do!oh, I think the border you sent wasn't quite the right proportions - should scale to " 9 cm by 15.5 cm " and it was something like 14.85. I just made the border at the top and bottom a little bigger, haha.
AG, look forward to seeing em!
I think mine are done..?
Eeek, sorry about the res. I was pretty strict on myself on the original images but I must have taken eye-off-ball when I came to the borders. My bad.

AG, that death turned out nice, congrats on getting him finished!
Hi there,
very nice set that you've got going. I lao sreall ylike the individual pieces but i was wondering hw you decided to colour the frames. are they random? Or do the colours have a meaning.
Anyways happy to see a nother team in the finsihed thread. We were feeling kinda lonely!
Take care
Janos
Agreed on the Death card, AG. The lighting works a treat.
Cheers Janos. The colours on mine were picked to compliment the image and it looks as though my team-mates did likewise. Or... perhaps we were being driven by the power of the tarot.. who knows?
