Nice mood on those enviros. A little perspective work and rendering and they'll become good. Also, cool designs. On the junkyard golem, watch out those thick, black "drawing" lines, I don't think they're helping in the piece.
Anyway, good work! Keep it up

    Uni Work:

For this project we had to create a character in the style of an existing IP

Exactly what it says on the tin really, all done by mouse mind so there a little bit scruffy

    Design for some "Cannon Fodder"

Hey man, your digitals are looking great! I'm not sure about your problem with images not loading, is it when you're uploading them or are they just not showing up when you view the page?
Either way, keep up the good work.

I see where you're going with the blocky and loose painting style but that stuff is crazy hard to do. I'd suggest that you try to get some sort of structure down before you lay down and bigger blobs of shapes, you can easily clutter down the piece and you end up with a huge mess and if worst comes to worst that mess could make you lost in the work and you might not be able to take it to a nice finish. By having it messy can also screw up the composition since you'll have to change so much stuff.

I think your would get a quicker workflow too if you would make a more solid sketch before starting to render.

All the best man, keep busting out pieces and moving forward!

Loathsome and maeshanne thanks so much for the comments and crit! I couldn't agree more with what your saying, for ages I've been finding it hard to properly finish work especially scenes with allot going on because as soon as I go to adding details it just turns to a mess and ends up loosing the design I started out with. I just really need to start spending more time on getting everything in the design sorted before I move on.

anyway, latest update for this weeks Chow. Still working on the horse with some reference, but I'm also thinking in making it a bit more beast like

Pretty happy with the design now, will work on colouring when the other 3 horsemen are drawn.
