applying to art school. portfolio advice?

Hey! I figured I'd start my sketchbook this way. I'm applying to MICA, Ringling, VCU, SVA, maybe Parsons, and I'm gonna give RISD a shot, too. Any constructive criticism is appreciated.

    Hey, good start.
These have a good sense of light and shadow. I do see some loss of form in the facial studies (self portraits?). Think ahead of form and mass when drawing. Studying anatomy and perspective also goes a long way. Keep it up, looking forward to more stuff.

Very good so far, the portrait style drawings are excellent, your shading is very good also.
