Nice work lately! The dog is a really strong piece. Your digital work tends to look a little thin..work into those bad mamma jammas!

    Keep up the good work

Hey, I just realized that my baby self is making that ":3" face!
BRINKMAN!: I know, right?!! I really got to get working on that, but when I get it right, you have to give me a gold star sticker, okay? when do you know if you've gotten that scholarship?

I'm sorry I don't think I'll be able to finish the body on my SP by tomorrow...have to get used to deadlines if I want to be a concept artist...

    BUT!

I'm almost done with my robot! One more day's work should do it. Hey look, I added a saw blade to the bottom of his rifle so he can do stuff like...you know...cut loaves of bread...um...BYE!!!

Whenever I take a break from posting and come back to your sketchbook it's like an art explosion!

How do they know a volcano is extinct?

Hope you had a great birthday! - there's a prezzie for you in the D.F.W.D.E.L.L thread!

Oh btw with that pic peoples are tryin to guess - you're drawin a slug or snail right? I'm pretty sure it's a slug though - I lived on 2 smallholdings (small farm) while growing up and one of my jobs was taking slugs off the plants (thanks mum!) really got to appreciate how varied and beautiful they actually are!

Whaaat, I'm late, nooooo!!! Happy Birthday!!! Whooooooooo!
I've got to know...what is the picture? It looks kind of alien-y. Anyways, can't wait to see the robot finished! Hope your year is going well, and will be the best so far.

Oh, wait! It is a snail! Because you have one on your face!

Angel- as I always say, your an angel. Thank you! ILOVETHATPUPPY!!!!!!
The7Artist7- DINGDINGDING!!!!!! WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!! And yeah, I saw it, thank you!!!!! I drew you too, but I accidentally made you look like a muppet.
NicG- Yes it definitely is. What's really funny though is that a lot of the rich people in Portland live in the west hills (the ones from that Everclear song), but that whole area is a continuing landslide caused by uplift! Not very smart...
Linguini- Better late than never, huh? And thanks!

Here's the culprit critter, along some other slugs and potential textures I found on that walk

Ok GoGojojo don't take this the wrong way or anything.... but I think I am in love with you. Which poses a problem as I am married.... I should prolly tell my hubby that today.... all kidding aside I love your art, you have come soooo far in such a short time. You are an inspiration and you can bet I'll be stalking... I mean lurking... I mean harassing.. I mean checking in here often, for the art of course

The7Artist7- Yay! You do! I'm glad you liked it!
BRINKMAN!- I'm glad you liked yours to!!! This made my day!
spaztastic- Heh, I read the very beginning of your comment up to the dot dot dot, and then my computer pulled that "is not responding" crap, so I was like "I NEED TO KNOW WHAT I DID WRONG!!!" Hey, here's the beginning of one for you too!!!
Turbosnail- Aw thanks! Hey, you should put up a picture of yourself so I can draw you too! Although I have a bit of a backlog of people I want to draw...

Oh no, her arms are too short!!! I'll fix it! On another note (get it?),I've had this song stuck in my head all day, so it's no wonder I put an ostrich wearing goggles in the picture.

Slugs are awesome in a gross way. I liked the first speed painting from memory.

If you, Granny and Spaz ever meet up, please tell the UN first so they can put the world on alert.

I didn't think it was possible to be called an artist when you have nothing to say. It's like being a writer who publishes individual words as books and expects to be praised for it.

Actually, that was just out of my head, but I'm glad you like it! And yeah, that's an interesting kind of situation.

I'm still having trouble with this stuff, I can't wait until I can take an actual art class besides welding. Which one looks less...bad...?

Awesome stuff lately, landscapes are sooo hard for me! I think the first one is stronger. I think it's the greater value range and the stronger indication of form on the bridge in the foreground. Keep up the rawkin work!

BRINKMAN!- Thanks! That's pretty cool to hear, cause I know you don't beat around the bush with critiquing. And landscapes are pretty hard, but it can really help with realism once you know how they are formed.
spaztastic- I'm glad you like it! But I'm so sorry that my computer ate it, I was just beginning to like it myself.

Grrrr, I envy your ability to keep a consistent face across several expressions.
I actually like the second waterfall better, because it seems to communicate the spray that you would be experiencing were you actually standing there.

my son loved the cartoon of him and I, if you dont mind, may I use it on my facebook profile if I credit you for it?
