Thanks, but it's more inspired by Nine Ladies which isn't far from me.

If you want to do it Capcom style go ahead! But if it looks like the Darkstalkers Morrigan I'll feed you to the trolls.

artina - the morrigan wip 01

    Hey everyone,
I love these last two CHOW topics. I'm a big fan of celtic lore. These are a few sketches before I have to get to work. I'm torn here because I like three of these choices. I might just go with B. What do you suggest?

Posh : DAMN you, I don't have the time for this ! I WILL do my best to participate though, this theme is again pretty sweet This one-week-deadline thing is really stretchin' me, I am NOT a fast illustrator

You're third sketch (the horizontal one at the bottom) is sick, it just feels right. Give you chance to work some misty/hallow Ynis Witrin-ish BG. The other two are nice sure, but they feel too human : the first perhaps some noble-woman and the other a witch.

Venger : too bad about the 3/4s rule. woulda made a good pic and given you the opportunity to work on some celtic knots and design in the BG.

    Nutter : creepy eyes dude

Okay I had to work on it some more, because the arms were not where I wanted them to be and left undone and it embarrassed me

Anyways, I added the spears and the banner? don't know if I'm going to keep the banner or not but I like how it adds to the comp. I dunno, just messing around.

Skorpi: Wow nice comp and bestial feel, love the claw feet and how her hair mimics wings, nice!!

    JamesHughes4789: Good start I like her ominous-cloakedness

Rumpenstilzken: I like the second one best, very dramatic!

dwinbotp: Oooh good sketch love the movement, will she have four arms or are you just testing comp?

artina: Neat way to do thumbs, I like B as well, very aggressive and cool wings-for-arms

@Wiggers - pity you don't have time for this one John, thought it would be right up your street with all the Famorian stuff you've been doing (which look great by the way)

Go on, an hours sketch, just for fun
