Intuos4 detects contact even though pen is not touching pad.

hi, my intuos4 has a problem, like sometimes, the tablet still detects the contact even though the pen is half an inch away from the pad, until i take the pen completely out of range.

    help pls?
i'm sorry if i couldn't express myself better.
    thanks in advance.

is it a hardware or driver issue?

Hi guys. Have you found any solution? My Intuos1 also has the same problem; it started a couple days ago and at the first I thought it was a driver problem, but after uninstall it, install different versions, trying in Vista in bootcamp (I have a mac), and in a PC laptop, it seems that is a -oh no- hardware related issue.

The problem is that it draws as always, fine and smooth, but when I finish the stroke and lift the pen, it keeps (faintly) drawing; and it does it for a good couple of seconds! Right now it's unusable.

Please, if anybody has some info share it with us. Right now I can't afford a new tablet.
