    Patrick McWhorter's brain-babies

Been meaning to do this for a while and the upcoming class reminded me to get on the ball with it. I have a whole lot of files to resize. For now, here's the page I entered for the contest. It was done in Sketchbook Pro with the pencil tool while listening to Iron Maiden.

Hey Pat, fast update. Lots of good challenge entries, personally like that rabbit one and the Stewie eye creature. Keep up the good Ustreams and update often.

It was fun doing "THE HOUR OF CHIUTENSITY" !!!

Keep drawing your getting better. Also stop using black and white while rendering in color. Its something i see too much of and its a big no no.

Dragontensity, 3rd session. not terrible, but not enough improvement, noticing I have a tendency to not add the rim lighting around the lower jaw which may help define the shape more, hmmm... suggestions welcome, as always!

    ninja-ninja pt2: electric boogaloo

considering the last "ninja-ninja" speed paint was an hour and this one was 30 minutes, I'd say I'm improving... though that last one was my first speed paint in months, to be fair. Also note that I was very tired, and on the verge of sleep, when doing this one.

Blue Bengal - the Goat thing is digital, mostly sketchbook Pro with some
    photoshop at the end

Here's a bunch of stuff I've been meaning to upload:

This was the first "hour of Dragontensity" entry, which I failed at, due mostly to lagginess in Photoshop and Sketchbook Pro... Name: DRAGON_ART.jpg
Views: 977
Size: 116.8 KB Thanks to Leebleeb for schooling me after this innitial effort.

These are from 3o-minute speed-sketching competitions we've been doing:

Size: 99.8 KB "faery Monster"

    Name: TOILET_MONSTER.jpg
Views: 940

Here's some entries froman hour-long speed-sketching competition I hosted whilesleep-deprived, I actually started nodding off at the computer towards the end, so forgive the putrid colors. iwas defending the value of the line of action against Leebleeb, who said it was useless for foreshortening.

for C.O.W. theme "Zombie Dinosaur". This is slightly modified since the innitial entry. I can still see adjustments that it needs, but time is limited, so I must focus on studies and on newer pieces more than fixing up older ones... Thanks to Davi Blight for pointing out lighting issues.

Valentine's day comes right after "I love zombies" day. Making the transition here... most of this was done in one hour, with a few refinements made in subsequent minutes.
