I see... get ready i will kick your ass now ... you can draw wonderful circles, but in the end you use them as ovals -.- and you have to accept the bones of the human face especially the cheekbones and their shading. You have to try to get the view for propotions, so if you test face 2 on your last sketch with Loomis advertised propotions it's much too long (vertical), face 1 failed totally, face 2's nose/head form is ugly and face 3 got the cheekbone problem, also the nose shadow is too extreme
feel free to ask me, if you don't understand my english lol (i am only 15 >__>)

This is a WIP, for my E.O.W. #180. Crits and comments appreciated as I am kind of stuck on how to approach lighting and the spaceship interior. :/ More posts coming.
EDIT: Too close to Deadline and not finished. Instead this will practice and I'll continue pushing it.
EDIT 2: Progress shots too.

Now, back to trying to solve the 'Metal' issue. @__@

Here are some Observational sketches. Just trying to fill up my sketchbook, since there is only a few pages left and I have a few more sketchbooks to file through. @__@
Also, some DSG concepts/sketches that I've been working on and concepts from my Arctic Desert Shipwreck...that I am also still working on.
Lastly, anybody know how to fix the 'Reading Preferences' hang up on Photoshop CS3 splash page? Kind of annoying having to wait a whole minute for it to load?
Where is that batch uploader!!! ;___;

Another 'Art Rut' another struggle....
Put simply, I was in another 'Art Rut' temporarily, still slightly am. I worked for a while at a minimum wage job, then recently was let go because I apparently did not meet their specifications during my training period. Needless to say, I'm pretty pissed and slightly discouraged cause now I have to go back to square one and go job hunting AGAIN!...oh well, off we go again. Hey, at least I get more time to draw and I'm going to try and take the negativity and turn it into something positive.
Sorry for the extreme lack of updates on my SB, just been stressed with work and all. I made myself a schedule just yesterday to see if I could keep up with it, so far it's been good. Gonna tweak my schedule a little more and see if I can't fit something I like. I would REALLY like to get things back on track here. The uploads here, some are fairly recent to a few days ago. Personally, I have a shit ton to catch up on and a LONG way to go since I set myself back so far.
So, here we go again and hopefully I won't keep falling on and off the grid. >

You have an amazing sketchbook ! I see you've done a large number of studies on basicly everything. I noticed you've been drawing from Gottfried Bammes' anathomy books. I found his books really helpful. I really like the way you're using colours while studying anathomy !
Keep it up !

Sorry for lack of updates, lots of "life" stuff going on; being adult-like and haven't been around a lot. I have things to upload to my SB but unfortunately, the power chord to my laptop; that has the stuff to post, was chewed by a certain puppy (which 'he' is here for babysitting)>:I, so I'll have to get another power chord eventually. Until then, I'll post what I've done as of recent; which isn't too much to say, sadly. @_@; Some Environments that are part of the 'Environments 1000 Challenge' I'm still doing. Hope to get things back on track soon. >_>;
EDIT: Forgot to upload stuff since I've been away for a while O_O
EDIT: More Old stuff that I forgot to post (and one spartan camp that's now considered just 'gesture practice' cause I missed the deadline) >_>;

More recent studies. Trying to keep consistent with my SB; it's rough, but it's coming along nice and slow this time and hopefully I'll pick up speed soon.

Here is a life drawing piece, I really need to work on life drawing in general though.

Good to see you posting again man!
You can see the progress you are making just by looking through your latest posts. Your lines are getting better, more confident, instead of being scratchy and using many lines you start to do long precise swooping ones!
Your studies are also looking a lot better, maybe it's your understanding of the process or just your mindset towards them. Your crosshatching and shading are now also following the forms which speaks volumes. Keep bashing it buddy!
To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities.

More 200 heads crusade, man I really am having hard getting these right. Oh well, keep going.
