    Need some critiques please~

Hello, I'm new here. I'm working on a piece as a gift for a friend and would like some help on it, if ya' don't mind. Any critiques are loved!

Please give me hair color suggestions, of all things. Like... seriously, I can't get a working hair color. It needs to be blue and not too dark/desaturated. I'm at a loss with it.

Is there a reason you're not drawing feet and hands?

Because they're my weakest point. XD

I generally do feet/hands last if at all possible, simply because I know it'll take forever for me to bring them to a point I like.

    Hah! Good answer.

But you know the saying. If you're having trouble with hands (or feet), that means you've got to draw a LOT MORE of them. Heck, that's what I've been doing, and it's kinda starting to pay off. Need a lot more work, though.

Have you tried practicing simplified hands like these to get a feel for it? It's actually pretty good practice.

I'm still working on faces. Faces faces faces. XD

Luckily as soon as I came here I found a great thread that showed how to practice drawing a ton of faces. And yeah, it's a lot more fun drawing faces than actually doing Physics/World History at school. XD

But I will practice doing hands and feet soon! : )
