    Hai guise.

Just a sketch. Design needs work, I know.

retter: looks good; you might try to push the values more to get a fuller range from lights to darks.

Wiggers: really nice! A bit too much black in the shadows, maybe. I would push the reflected lights, and perhaps also pay more attention the the temperature of the light source vs the shadows.

jspangler: like the design so far.

Carnifex: great sketches; I think the later design is a little too saturated in color, though; perhaps save the super-saturated colors for the focal area? Otherwise, it's a little bit blinding and it's hard to know what's most important visually.

Lege1; good anatomy; he's pretty huge. His lower jaw is maybe a little underdeveloped.

ActsOfBob: love the first design especially, but all of them are very good; great colors.

Arthur 'Two Sheds; great colors, great lighting. Looks like Archimedes.

mattj324: Looks a little too foxy atm, more like a study than a design.

JustSomeDude: I like the design, but I'm not sure how he's sitting in space. Is he floating? It's hard to tell atm.

yeah,it's just a "colour overlay" layer (or whatever you call it),which either makes really dull or really saturated colours. i'll have to balance it out later.

Not sure if I'll push this but I'm glad I took a stab at sketching this idea.

I loved Archimedes But, I might do some groundwork for this one as well, that would be three challenges this week :/

Retter: Nice head! The rest of the body could improve imor. It’s also a bit flat atm (the body).

Wiggers: I love Bosch too. A little extra colour wouldn’t hurt.

Carnifex: Interesting head. The rest of the body looks a little stiff so far. Perhaps vary placement of legs and arms… perhaps a small twist or turn of the head?

Jspangler: Nice imp-sketches. Why make an imp, may I ask? It’s not exactly a new creature…

ActsOfBlob: Good sketching, and good call to skip the frog. The new one has a lot more potential and life to it.

Jcpahl: That’s disgusting. I would never keep a familiar like that one.

Lege1: If you reduce the light on the dragon’s leg the head will come into focus.

Arthur TS: You have added a lot of bright and colour-full objects in your last update. They make the image a little chaotic, and steals attention from your owl. Keep the candle,
But let the owl be the next brightest place to look at.

I didn’t comment on everyone, because I had nothing to say. Generally I think there are many not especially new creatures here… so far.

If you can’t find a completely new body-shape, then change the details, colours, patterns and so on. Ears, fur, scales, tails, feet, hands, horns, nails, eyes etc can be changed around to make for a rather new experience.

I’m in too… these are just (not very successful) warm-up sketches. I’m not picking any of these.

I think it needed some sense of scale.

Added some more colour thanks cloister for pointing that out.
