    DAK 2010

Here is something I did while I was working for Disney. Unfortunately it won't be used. I was given a very rough layout by a senior character artist there and I was allowed to tighten the drawing and paint it up. Due to the nature of the project I had to take some wild liberties with the proportions of the animals.

Looking pretty good. I'd suggest you learn to incorporate more texture into your work. At present it looks overly smooth and plastic-like. Even subtle texturing can make a big difference.

    Thanks for the comment Traveler,

I struggle with that all the time. I'm a huge fan Matt Dixon's style, but I also love the work of Serge Birault, I'm still trying to find a comfortable place somewhere between both styles.

    Thanks for the feedback.
