Pretty much everything is from yesterday except for half a page which was form the day before yesterday ^__^

Usually I just start drawing at night when everyone else is asleep [I'd for sure get in truble for drawing this stuff and I know my parents wouldn't understand] But yesterday felt safe to work on them all day [but I did things inbetween, and had to help with stuff several times, so yeah ^^]

Hey, looked a little lonely in here, so I decided to drop by. This is some nice stuff, keep doing those studies. One thing I think you should work on is controlling your pencil. When you're doing those Loomis studies or other pencil stuff, don't just scribble in the shadows. The direction of your pencil strokes can be very effective in describing the form of something.

I decided to start using the .pdf of the book "The Natural Way to Draw"
    I haven't really done his Blind Contour exercises the right way... I mean they take me 8-10 minutes approx. [which is pretty long to me] and supposively they're suppose to last 30 minutes. I dunno how bad that is XD;

Okay so my camera's not working, so I guess I need a new one DX [I guess I shuld have a scanner, but I don't have the room]
But I dunno when I can get a new [I have the money to pay for one, but... I don't have access to outside my house most the time, so it depends on my mom telling my dad to get me one...]

    _____________________

But anyways! I'll try to fit more digital painting stuff [I'm still gonna do drawing studies by hand vs. tablet ^^]
I did this orange [was actually a whole picture of oranges, but I only had time for one]
I guessed on the shadows on the ground, for it being by itself... problbly should have looked up reference pictures on that.

I remember when I first started to draw from Posemaniacs. 90 seconds is still too long for me but I'm hanging in there, and I see that you're improving also.

Sweeeeet your hanging in there! The paintings are looking good, I suggest doing more of them On the last one the values are farily good but I would suggest pushing the lights even more. Still don't see any painted still lifes though! You got Sai right?

Don't be afraid of drawing frorm your head more as well. When I was frist began to draw I thought if I draw more from observation ill be able to draw form my head! That's not quite true, you need to draw from your head to be good at drawing from your head hah.

Animations looking neat, I've done some of that stuff, I want to make films when I'm ready hah. For now just working on my drawing and painting skills. Above all else I want to be able to paint very nice backgrounds...

One last thing I suggest is spending alot of time on one study or drawing. I learned alot when I started spending my time makeing sure everything was right.

    Keep it comeing

@Dy.laneA Yess hanging in there, but at times it feels like barely!~ [but sometimes its hard to stop, so at least thats good]
Maybe I sha'll work on making that better sometime next montht then
Aww so the fruit arn't still lifes? Okay okay I'll pick something off my desk next time.
I'll be sure to inccorperate that more then [well I usually draw anime from head, but I'll practie with realism more ^^]

Yeah I myself might think about going into animation, I'm still not sureee sure yet, but I'm thinking on it still

I'll try to start doing that more often then! :3

Thanks a bunch for all the suggestions, and I definently will be!

@vatteh Yeah pose manias an be so bothersome at first DX But now I think I'm finally pulling off 20-30secounders
    I got more stuff I did on paper, but I was too lazy to take pictures of it XD;;;
[and took a break for 2 days, though secound day was not intentional got pretty busy DX]

So here...is my attempt of realism painting from mind since you suggested it. Ahaha all I can say is it does not look very real at the moment

I'm guessing its either the eyes or nose or both that look wrong.
Maybe just all of it is! [and I've never really drawn and clothes with a serious attitude, so I'm sure the clothes need work]
And something about his cheek, I must be shading it wrong

For this I thought of a pose writting down what it did, draw it, then, I'd go in the mirror make the pose and redraw it [but my mirror isn't next to my desk, so I'd have to recall what I sa win the mirror XD But it is still in my room]

I'm gonna start trying to do something like this everyday, draw something from refrence, right after draw it from memory, then don't look at the image and try to redraw it sometime during the next day, until i can get use to it with none.

Man you're dedicated! Nice posemaniac sketches too, there's schwung in them and that's a good thing to have.
About that digi portrait:the main problem lies in the eyes, which aren't on the same plane as the nose and mouth. Her haircut's on the lopsided side as well. But it's not like you couldn't fix that, right?

Everything except for the portraits are from April 9th-April 13th ^^
I feel like I got better at portraits then I have been doing [then again I was being more rushy with those ones, while I've recently been working harder at taking my time X3]

Then I also started to incoorperate some watered down acrylics [well closet thing to watercolors I could use]

Most stuff is from April 18-22nd
I need to pick up the pace again [though I think I have been at least doing an hour on most days, just doesn't feel like it, though actually have been doing some more anime related things that are colored, but I don't think I'll bother posting those for now ^^]
I hope to get back to updating once a day ^^

Gesture drawings [plus memory of a place gestures]

Then more Arms STuff plus pose stuff
[guess the Poses are basically gesture but with more time put into them, most 2 minutes, But I'll draw them at one angle, then I try to draw what I think they'd look like at a different angle in the same pose, then rotate the image and draw the corect version of the pose rotated ^^]
