Yeah....I was a little afraid that might happen. It seems a number of the creature designs are reminiscent of the original though. But...yeah

What I so far can see is that it ain't nowhere near the classic from 1981. Mixing cheap metal music with ancient greece, horrible combination imo.

    "Titans will clash"

    Pretty horrible slogan! :/

But I'm gonna give this film a chance, hopefully the trailer doesn't do it full justice

It's pretty obvious that Hollywood is running low on ideas. However, If this disappoints; there's always Madame Tutli Putli (Stop-motion short that was made in '07).

The Graeae (the old women who share a single eye), remind me an awful lot of the baby-eating monster from "Pan's Labyrinth."
I'm also hoping this doesn't turn out to be as much of a brainless "no special effect is too big" action fest as it appears in the trailer.

Holy crap, you're so right!... I thought the original wasn't good in the first place so a remake was a pretty alright idea with me, but this just has no personality of its own... I friggin' hate the Snyder-directing style of the superfast/superslow motion editing...

This is just too over-the-top for its own good. Why not let the District 9 guy direct instead of Zack Snyder, goddammit.

The Kraken looks like a realistic version of the one from God of War II.

In CLASH OF THE TITANS, the ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth.
What the fuck?? Yeah, let's completely throw out the story of the original movie, not to mention the original mythological story of Perseus.
