@LeoDraws: That's awesome! I feel quite honoured really! I think many artists hope to inspire, and starting a sketchbook on here can be pretty daunting (at least it was for me at first). Knowing I could help you through that is brilliant!
@Schraverus: Thanks! Yeah I've been trying to be a bit more loose with my strokes, and still working on loosening up. Hopefully with time I'll be more concise. Though at the same time, Ive grown pretty fond of the tiny brush strokes as well. Makes me feel like I'm carving.
@NickyBeats: haha thanks man. I wish I had more time to spend on sketches though, seems like my allotted time to work on any given project continues to shrink each day. Hope I can continue to bring good stuff your way.
@CorinneDsin: Thank you dear, I'm glad you think so!
@surus: Thank you sweetie!
Personal work:

This is the first time I'm going to spend more than an hour on my own personal stuff (in about a year or so). It's helping me cope, so I keep neglecting real work to come back to it. I need to steady myself...
Commissioned paintings :

And a commissioned pencil work:

Everything else that's kind of junky is slapped together in the attachment below. I'd leave better comments about everything but it's late. And I've been feeling weird lately. Need to focus. Sorry for the massive sizes.

I was sure that it was much longer since I last updated. So its either been a while or I haven't been working as hard as I should.

Digital painting commission. Guy is supposed to be a necromancer, and the commissioner said I could draw him topless so. There's that. There's an alt version where he has his swords on my dA, but I kind of like it without (I always hate covering up the stomach or waist are :c)

Speed paint commission. Though I've had iffy feelings about this one when I started painting it...Hmm. I tried using more airy summery colours, and that's still kind of hard for me I guess.

Another commission I still need to finish up. Was going to do this today but I ended up waking up at like 10:30...The armour will be in all black. It's Cecil from FF4, but the commissioner wanted my own take on the armour, keeping in mind German high gothic armour and sticking with a similar look.

Sketch commissions, and these were actually really fun to work on. I'm trying to include more full body work. Which kind of works out...sometimes.

And some digital line work stuff. I still feel like my digital line work lacks any real personality or anything like that. The top one is to become a speed painting, the second one is going to be a collaborative piece with a buddy of mine. And the bottom two are an ongoing commission of a robo design.
Perhaps if i keep doing more digital line work it will look good one day aha.

Another drop of a bunch of stuff after remembering conceptart exists.

bottom two are speed paint type things, most of them are commissions. Some are wips. There's probably other stuff but I need to cook dinner. I will edit this post when I have the time!

ahhh im in love! is that Revolver Ocelot? love that sketch! also, your line work... I could drool over for days... I really like how your characters seem to switch between male and female, you keep them quite ambiguous! but I love the depth, and emotion you impart into them... their eyes have so much depth. really interesting work! love it!

Here are some things I've done since my last update. I am faster at painting now and quite interested in texture. However, commissioned work is one of my main sources of income - and I feel that pushing these out has stifled my creativity (I have to be sure that enough of the character is visible, and typically forward facing). This has really made a mark on my approach when coming up with compositions and I need to break free of it. Overall I feel my use of colour has improved and my attention to values. I still get quite stuck in a narrow band of values and I'm unsure if I would like to continue to work like this or continue to work on contrast (people often feel this is a signature of my "look").
It's always a struggle when actually consciously considering the options in which one can go forward with their art. I've spent a lot of time studying in every which direction but I feel I need to focus a little more again on experimenting and pushing some of my boundaries, rather than just absorbing knowledge.

I am also a lot more unapologetic of the sexual gaze in my work. So there's that. I may upload some other older stuff at some point as and when.
