Hey guys, update for the last few days... apologies for not posting here much.

isso09, thanks! I don't colour them cause they're pen and ink, I dunno. If I was going to paint them I'd probably sketch them differently- I wanted to try using line to convey formand some limited values, rather than relying on colour. Plus SAI trial, which I use, isn't the best for colouring over sketches...

    Cam Sykes, thanks :3

No Moleskine today, have been doing music stuff mostly. Here's some photos studies.

Whoa, keep rocking it dudes, here are the better arm studies I gleaned from the sketchbook of last night and today. Drawing the reff and then drawing out of my head, last image, I'm trying to apply all this stuff to sculpting. Cheers.

Dang, is that too many flicks?

Today I did some basic female gesture/ construction studies from Sheldon Borenstein's book because I never draw women and it's hard to draw them (at least, for me it's hard).

    finally finished

well it was THE sensible subject i was afraid, the lights, glows and highlights then i took this picture, may pushed a lil too much on it, lots of lil details and dirt on stone to mimic, spent too much time, it was a struggle, but ( and it was unexpected) mostly with darks, still have some errors, but it is enouth start to be fed up of this pic >.>

Trator that's an awesome study. Which one is the reference???

Also here's an study on getting the likeness right. Obviously fail, since it does not look like Al Pacino at all.
