I'm still having alot of trouble with heads. The placement of the features is off by a little and really deforms the head. I'm gonna have to set down a better foundation and structure for future studies. Ill get it. Good work everyone.

Hey guys, first post to this thread. I did a quick banana study today, since there were no apples around. I've been getting a lot of suggestions lately that I should use more opaque brushes, so I gave it a shot.

So I practiced drawing a few spheres because I still seem to have problems with them.

Also a copy of a loomis face.

Again, sorry for the shitty quality with no scanner. Thought I should do some skulls first before I get into loomis's face planes to just familiarize myself with the facial bone structure. Uni is eating up all my freetime this term with all theses bloody intensive classes, I guess I could just slit my wrists with a crimson dagger. All reffed off of google.

Well 90mins later I came up with this - on the plus side it's way better than my last 2 attempts at still life!!

    Still, freaking hard >.<

Teundeboer - I see you have a big colour issue here. It's really important that you draw what you see - not what you think you see. The perfect example would be clouds. They aren't just white and grey. If you look closer you see that they are blue, yellow, brown and sometimes a bit violet.
Well, I don't know if you wanted to do the greyscale first and then add the colors but I wouldn't do it this way.
The form is already good. Now the colors.
Just give it a shot, we all just want to improve.

    ...I hope that helped. ^__^
