f1x- I think you are talking to me right, haha? Google "Mourning For Icarus" to find the original to compare. I still have alot of work to do that on that study, like 12 hours or more worth, especially on the faces and pretty everything else. I'll definitely try to get it as close as possible though. If you see anything really off lemme know.

I didnt know the original piece (its awesome)
now that I've seen it and now that you mention I did spoil a couple anathomy/perspective problems, (but as you said its very complex one, so only a couple problems its not much)
One of them being as said when it goes from the shoulder to the starting of the waist, his waist its too tiny, actually all of the "abdomen" part , but thats something easy to correct (I get it hard to express tbh I dont know how to say some of the parts of the body in english...)
The other thing is the arms of the girl that is on the lower part, its lookin chubby, but its actually chubby in the original one, but, the hand itself its perspective its a bit wrong, so it dosnt look like the hand is resting on the stone, also the wrist could be a bit tiny so the arm dosnt look too fat even if as said its fat in the original,
Also careful with the guys face, its got a tricky foreshort/perspective thing going on on the original already so your mind might want to actually do the face correct while the original looks a bit off/weird
hummm, anyway I think the study is really nice, everything else looks in place, just thought I would point this couple things if it helps you in anyway I'll be happy =)))

My winter vacation just started, so I did few studies today.
Did those portraits and some Bridgman's studies (on my sketchbook).
Critiques would be much appreciated.

so much gold!!! must...try...harder!!! keep it up guys, great stuff!
THIS IS A STUDY! NOT MY OWN WORK! REPEAT. A STUDY!
so..this is a study I did after the great Kekai Kotaki. You can find the original here More or less a monochromatic color practice as well as seeing shapes 'n' stuff. It seems unfinished but I didn't really see the point going in and doing all the details, I'd rather do that with my own work.
