Welcome to the sketchbook belonging the user that called himself "El_Bert" on this forum and many other places on the internets. But he wouldn't mind if you would just call him "Bert".
After several years of being a member of this forum, he finally decided to make a sketchbook for himself. You're looking at it now. This sketchbook is meant as a form of motivation for him to DRAW MORE. Unfortunatly, most likely, this thread will update slowly with his works, as he is quite a busy student at the faculty of Industrial Design at the Technical University in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
Let's see, what more would you like to know that isn't considered classified or unwise to put on the internets. Well, he was born in November of '85 and has a background as a cartoonist and Industrial Design enthusiast. He's proficient with pen and paper, Photoshop, Painter and a brand new Wacom. His dream would someday to create a complete comic book (of help his friends finish their 3d animated movie).
Art? ohw ART! Yeas, well....at this time there is not much available. Here is something that has been resting on his laptop for a few days. A drawing of Bert himself! (on the right, stuffing a bagle in his face) and some fellow students. It's a bas scan, but that is all that is available at this time.
Stay tuned for more..... someday.
My first update!
I still had some doodles lying around. There are the PC's and a few important NPCs from a DnD campain we're running right now.
funny that you are writing about youself in the third person in your first post *haha*
it seems you are more into cartoon-style (<-is that correct english?), but maybe you should study anatomy to get a better feeling of the human form and try to mix into your current style.
Well looking forward to your next update and congratulations for making a sketchbook
My second update!
Well, what did you expect with a sketchbook title as "Procrastination in Progress". I would say it's aptly named.
Yes, Sabro, thank you and you're absolutely right!. I used to draw more anatomically correct and less cartoony. I'd like to do that again, once I have more time to spare.
And a small update. Currently my main source of inspiration are the DnD campaigns I play. I haven't drawn much interesting for my study lately.
Update! Update! Update!
you have a nice cartoon style you draw anything else?
Cheers/ your friend PMB
