Lovely work! Acrylics and color pencils eh? Does any of the color pencils show out in the final rendering? It looks like you paint quite thinly and I wouldnt have thought these were done using acrylics but watercolors. The translucency and subject all adds up to a poetic feel. Good stuff!

GOT DAMMIT TRAN, you are just such a amazing being to me, your work is probably the most sublime I have ever encountered. There is just such amazing attention to the detail and composition of the whole piece, Iam gonna meet you one day, and when I do I will probably bow down to you. I hope your show was a huge success but knowing your work, it probably was. Congrats on your success.

Beautiful artwork. Think I see some Klimt influence in that first and third painting. Sorry if this sounds preachy or racist but how come you paint white people almost exclusively. I think the canon of art is already more than filled with white people and for good reasons considering Europeans also make up most of the master painters of history but why should artists of different races keep up the same tradition?

Just my thoughts. Keep making lovely paintings either way!
