hahaha, oh snap - Tran!!! We meet again....on the other side of the internet. (This is Jen, by the way)

My computer is being a major pain, and I wrote something out like three times and it lost it.......so I'll make this brief:

    - You're awesome
    - I feel really privileged to know you
    - Every time I see new work from you (your last few posts) it's always such a joy. Every piece is always so unique, and your improvement in technical skill is apparent with every new addition.

Keep up the great work! I know that won't be a problem for you.

Really enjoyed looking at these, the hands and faces are very emotive. Would love to see how you handle multiple figures, like a crowd scene or interaction between several characters, animals and background. Thanks for sharing!

These are really quite lovely. Creative subject matter and compositions, and an unusual soft, grainy treatment that lends your work an otherworldly, ethereal quality. Really nice work.

I just love the way your mind chugs along...the visual language is unusual without being overt or sensationalist. Really cool! Could you post a tight detail, so we can see how this acrylic/colored pencil business works?

    Parting From Your Wayward Soul

Again, thanks everyone for the generous support. I'll actually be traveling to CA's side of the country in March for an art show, well maybe not exactly to San Francisco but Los Angeles. If you're in the neighborhood, I'd love to meet you at the event. Below is a preview of the show.

By the way, I work with acrylics and color pencils.

wow. great work. i like the texture, do you get the grainy look by running the pencil over the surface lightly? it seems too consistent for that.
