    Really lovely...

As a few folk have said, hands are excellent and faces are beautiful. Your blog is really interesting too, for all the process stuff and descriptions. I'm smitten with "When Red Days Settle in Blue Hours".

    Thanks for sharing!

coming apart but we're falling together

Sometimes, people warily subject themselves to malignant temperaments that spread throughout their bodies like cancer. With apathetic dispositions, they let it corrode their psyches -- slowly but eventually. It's repulsive, shameful, foul, but we all share this prevalent disease. In a desolate and unaccompanied manner, we tear ourselves apart, but fortunately, there's always someone falling beside us...and life isn't so tough anymore.

Pretty much everyone else's comments perfectly sum up my own thoughts in regards to these pieces. They are simply beautiful and I would love to see some of the creation processes you go through with your work.

I think I'll go stare at them some more...

    Great Work!

I really like your work. The thing that stands out the most in your images is, they are well composed and you are conscious of designing with shape. Also the figures are well drawn and exhibit good value control.

    Very Nice!

What medium is this? It immediately felt like colored pencil but I'm sure it isn't since it's paint. What's the texture behind it, wood? It's amazing looking anyway...

I wish I could connect with such things in the way you describe. I simply get lost in the rendering and then I become jealous and stuff. Your figures/linework/coloring/composition are great indeed.

Someone's going to write poetry or stories revolving around your work and publish it.

Beautiful work. Its fulsome and dearly felt potency is delivered by a wonderful and commited sense of the architecture of your forms, each scratching the back of the other to produce the music of the whole. I also like the fact that your technique is well suited to what you have to say - a sort of restrained yet very versatitle low relief carving of the forms both in the conception and the imaginative interpretaion of the paint.
Some of these paintings are among the best things I have seen on these forums.
As Kev said earlier up, I'm an instant fan too.
