    Spartan's sketch book

Hey guys I'm a new member here. Ive decided to create a sketch book here on CA, I'm 2d/3d artist looking to get better at what I do. Around here there's not many artists, so its kinda hard to learn. This is a random collection of some of my most of art.

I'm looking forward to your you feedback.

    Hi Spartan,

I like your work and think it's a good start to a sketchbook. I'd really like to see you work on your eyes though. Some of them just don't seem 100% aligned properly. Other than that, I really liked the girl with the cowl Thought it was nicely rendered. Looking forward to more

Its a great start to your sketchbook. Wow!

I agree with Ardesoecre your eyes need work, they are looking flat not set in to the face.
I also think the shading on the face could be tinkered with, I was taught to make skin tones with only 6 coloured pencils - red, range, yellow, green, blue and purple. The skin has lots of different coloured tones in it if you look at oil paintings there are greens and blues t shade the face.

I think you have a lot of potential that can be built on- keep going

I think these are awesome. I really enjoy the soft feel of them all, however I think you should explore how sharp edges work in relation to soft edges. Play with it a bit, hard edges will pop out more over soft edges.

    Keep it up!

thanks for the comments guys, I agree about the eyes most of them arent correctly aligned and I've always had a problem with hard edges but I kinda want to change my style so I'm practicing new techniques right now.

This is some more of my old stuff, actually I haven't been drawing for a while. Just getting back into it.

The first image is a 2hour speed painting I did for a friend, the other is how far I've gone what I'm working on, trying too use harder brushes on this 1, I think I'll call it crash landing.
