ANATOMY FOR ARTISTS: with Marshall Vandruff (taught J Sweet, K Llewellyn me and...

This coming weekend (Nov 14th if you are want to learn) Marshall Vandruff is joining us to teach his awesome class on creating anatomy from imagination, and constructing believable figures and characters from any perspective on the fly. This is the single best anatomy teacher I have ever found and a world renown instructor responsible for teaching guys like Justin Sweet, Bernie Wrightson, Drew Struzan , Kevin Llewellyn , Vance Kovacs artists from Blizzard, Sony, Disney and...the list goes on. And on. And on.

Without the knowledge of anatomy and structure shared with me from Marshall I would have struggled to do all the concept work I did over the years. He is one of the finest teachers I have ever encountered and I think you will find him to be the same. So that being said...here is some info!

ANATOMY FOR ARTISTS: An Introduction to Observe & Invent The Human Figure

Marshall offers this intensive crash-course that compares human anatomy in book plates with finished masterpieces by great artists. This workshop makes anatomy practical - knowledge that contributes to powerful life drawing and allows artists to invent figures from imagination.

The course includes over 200 slides of great art with commentary and comparisons between anatomy plates and finished works.

The course showcases the work and teaching of George Bridgman, and his influence on illustrators such as Frank Frazetta.

The roots of creative anatomy shall be revealed this weekend.

    When: Nov 14th
    How much: 95 USD
    What time? 1pm-5pm PST
"I heard CA upgraded it's tech?" - Yep we sure did and it is really nice stuff. We have paid the price and shelled out for the leading on line education tools available. The system works great and is here to stay.
How? Direct Link to the store here! http://www.conceptartstore.com/anforar.html
Why? - Because you want to learn to better your anatomy use, create figures from life and/or imagination and because you want to be the best artist you can be.
Who is this for? This is for all artists no matter the discipline. If you are a 3d artist, 2d artist, painter, sculptor or any other artist using the human figure, then this class will help you. For certain.

Does that also mean we are getting the slides (Save the whiteboard as a PDF ourselves) or is Marshall just using them as lesson material which we cannot get our hands on. It would be great to use the slides as learning tool.

i wonder why all classes are stream live only? Why not buy as dvd or whatever? I assume the reason is to prevent piracy?

I as well need to know if we can possibly dl this at a later time. I have no problem putting the 95 bucks down for this, but I don't have the cash now.

    This is totally awesome!

On a side note, I would highly recommend Rey Bustos as well, as an anatomy instructor, should you need other knowledgeable and skilled artist anatomists.

I wish I had the money for this. The new tech is AWESOME and has made the classes so much easier. Bridgman is an artist I have been studying for a long time and I can tell you from personal experience that his teachings will give your forms more weight and presence, and will make a lot of the confusing structures of the human body so simple that you WILL find it easier to draw from life or from your own imagination. I have several Bridgman books but I'd love to actually take a class where it is all explained in front of me. Kudos to everyone who takes this one, I'll have to catch it on OnDemand at a later date.

I live in Japan, I think the time conversion is basically 2am which isn't the best time. Is this downloadable by any chance?

wonderfull, I´ll try everything to join this class, this sure will be kick ass, I´m quite through his perspective dvd´s and it´s the first time I understood some of the more complicated stuff. My question though, is this class also for the not so advanced students or should one have some knowlegde about muscles or stuff like that?

Question. I just ordered and got "Your credit card has been collected" which i assume means that the transaction is complete. My card has not yet been debited and no email has showed up. This was around an hour ago so i'm getting a bit worried as those things usually happens instantly. Should i wait more or is something not quite right? I really don't want to miss out on this.
