@pixeltuner: i think the visor needs to be more defined, it almost looks a bit like facepaint. i think also maybe break up her bangs a bit. she has a pretty strong jaw so the straight line across (which is probably because of the visor) takes away from her femininity. i really like her outfit!

hp: Thx Yeah, maybe define the edges of the visor a bit clearer and let them cast some shadow as well. Bangs are also on the agenda

Hey guys and gals. Some great lookin' entries so far.

Made some armor varients (to try and come up with something creative, as well as to try and do something more technical in line with the whole IDW-thing). Lemme know what you think:

Pixeltuner - The outfit is sleek, I agree about the visor though, it dosen't look quite as if it's in front of her face, maybe paint a opaque gray layer and bring it down to 20% or less on top of it would give it weight. Edit: Nvm you just fixed it!

Prepsage - Awesome Steed, while the jousters shoulder armor is nice, it looks a little bulky, but the main problem I see is that his elbow seems to be off, coming out of the armor, but a joint like that would have much more depth.

Update, I've since bulked up the steed, a little fatter.

Tomersc, looks very promising. Great design and I like the nonchalant pose.
Gerezon, fabulous design and very realistic metal plate work. Watch the perspective on the front.
Jason snair, daring use of color, I like it. Nice helm design too.
Pixeltuner, the visor looks a lot better now but I still have doubts about here pose.

Gave mine a less static pose.

    Reymus: yep
Tommoy: That's kind of a useless remark eh? :p Anyway I figured that the way the light hits her leg that carries the weight makes it look like it's bent forward, which shouldn't be the case. Will fix that tomorrow.

here are 2 new ideas what do you guys think? playing with the idea of a oxygen tank on his back for jousting in space and him having some kind of energy arm that makes a shield, (think like Bao-Dur off of Starwars knights of the old republic 2)

NEW WIP! Almost done with my man! Just needs a bit more fine tuning, a lance, and possibly a steed if i have time. Oh, and I somewhat have a concept story for this guy.

"Petr Maksimov was once a beloved champion in the jousting circuits. he won numerous championships, titles, and had numerous fans that loved him ever so. After a few years though, it all went to his head. Thinking he was better then any other jouster in the galaxy, Petr set of to prove so.

On a worldwide broadcast, Petr went to the final rounds, cocky as ever. To show he was the best, he went in bare chested and shield-less. To bad the other man was better then him. After suffering a near fatal impalement, Petr was rushed to the hospital.

At the hospital, he was approached by a doctor, claiming he could heal Petr, as well as give him strength and power unlike the world has ever seen. Knowing this would make him better, Petr accepted the offer. For three years, Petr went under various surgeries, tests, and injections.

Now with various steroids constantly pumping through his body, a body made of rock hard scales, and the mind of a champion, Petr now knows that he cannot be defeated."

And if by some rare chance you were wondering:
    Height - 9'6"
    Weight - 730lbs
FUCK YOU YA PRETENTIOUS DICKS!! BAN ME!!
