Hmm...perhaps not far future enough. The shield logo is just a place holder.

Updated 11/14: Do you think I can finish? Gotta work all day tomorrow.

Just updating progress... trying to push the whole "Black Knight" thing with the steed. I guess I'm going to move into color soon so any feedback is welcome. I hate backtracking.

Edit: Got his crest and sponsor logo worked out.

seems to me the face is too small for the head? if you put the lasso tool just around eyes mouth and nose, and enlarge alittle, see what happens. the eyes are too close to each other too.

Yay! Thanks a lot, Carnifex... I was sure something looked funny, but couldn't get it.

    Cheers!

Those golden arches get everywhere! At the moment I'd say without, but you can always put them on a separate layer and see what they look like later.

I'd go without them, too... The idea is nice, anyway. How about thick ones, more like tendrils?

so here's some more work...used slight ref for the face. trying to figure out how to make the shoulder pads and helmet look more metal...
yep, that's one giant screen there...our hero could comfortly fit into that nostril, steed and all. the red from beneath is from the middle line btw.

Her name is Blackbird. She's never lost, she fights dirty, and her escapades in the off-hours keep her in the tabloids.
Her sponsor is going to be a PMC (private military contractor, mercenaries), still working on a name that is better than "BlackWater" or "Xe"

here is some ideas and a possible WIP workin on some more ideas crits welcom love everyones work is amazing! using some kind of holographic shield with a holographic bilboard attached basicly steed needs work and lance may be like a giant taser?

possible story- Sir Phillip Gurad IIV "The Saint"
known by most people was one of the old greats of the new game of jousting sponsored by none other than pepsi. comes from a long line of nobility, never thought of him self better than anyone, thinks of himself as only a man with a dream, donates most of his profit to charity and lives on earth back on his family's ancient lands, in the off season likes to practice with real steeds and lances. Shows mercy even to thoughs who show none, but is not a force to be reckoned with.

man some of these are looking really good!

i still need to put in his other hand holding the flag. his coat of arms is behind him and he will be putting his front hand on a shield.

he was a unknown recruited by Trojan for their popular viral marketing campaign, "you don't need extra protection when you're with us". easily spotted by his lightly armored bodysuit and visored helmet, he is just an accident waiting to happen...

lots of tech goodness showing already
I am hoping to learn more from this CHOW since I suck at drawing machinery.

hp very clean and sharp lines(envious)!
Jessie Bean Looks like it's gonna be another hottie
Carnifex Love the Afro dude! I wanna see more!
jspangler Exciting composition, loving the dude's face and evil/overconfident smile, keep going, looking cool!

Here's what i've got so far, She's a sponsored athlete, Nike or something similar, too many to choose from, take advantage of even redesigning current logos and the idea of creating an entirely new company/logo/slogan is very very tasty indeed.
The steed can move on land, water and even travel in space. Lance attaches onto the Steed when stationary and not in use. Knights can either ride the Steed in the usual upright sitting position or stand atop it...boots have pegs(along with patented Kung Fu Grip)or magnetic attachments to prevent shamelessly falling head first onto pavement trying desperately to look cool LOL

dwinbotp; "Joust do it" Haha nice slogan!

Here're some sketches.. Still playing around with the vehicle design (which I'm still not sure if I'll include ;p )

Ilatska is in her late teens, comes from a family of STEED Jousters. She's shown promise of her skills when she was a little girl.
Her sponsor is the TriStripe Sports. She uses a forcefield technology as armor, which she has to activate manually -which is shaped as her family crest.

    UDPDATE;

I'm still very far behind, but here's more exploration with the suit. Givin' some love to her boots ;3
