@Alex: For sure. I will be playing with some more contours next time around. I have some great reference on how to tackle form with line.
Here is a WIP of a collaboration that I am doing with Miles Wadsworth (fellow TAD student here at the Austin POD). Please critique. We are working out the colors right now and we will be pushing it further in the next few days. We are happy with the composition but things can always change for the better.
Thanks for looking,

@Saara_: Thanks so much! I have been busting my butt and it is great to hear that you see improvement. I only have about 1.5 years left of school so I have a lot of ground to cover. No use just standing idle. amirite?
@rumpenstiltzkin: haha yeah. Gotta draw draw draw. I find myself not drawing enough. Lots of planning and education but not a ton of actual pen to paper. know what I mean. But honestly what I am doing right now is the best medicine for me and the best way to learn. It is just difficult to tell myself that when I just wanna draw
Here are some character sketch sheets for a 4 page comic I am working on

@in2eternity: Thanks for the huge compliment. But honestly, I started drawing about 2 years ago and I have been in school for 1 year. It you look at the time stamps on this sketchbook, you will see that there has been some improvement in the last few months. You just have to keep drawing and draw with a purpose. When you draw, aim to get better. Don't just draw. You got this my friend.
This is Miles and my Diptych.
