It is about some kids wanting to become a mangaka and getting serialised by
jump magazine. you actually learn new stuff about mangakas, editors and jump. and it got a nice story too. It's one of the best manga's right know IMO. I think its done by the same guy thad did death note.

"Omg, I never read Bakuman and I'm not sure what it's about but judging by the cover it looks FREAKIN EPIC! Have to check that out sometime."

This manga set is one of the best to show up in a long time, and should be read by anyone who has an interest in the business end of "comics," even though it is specifically about the serialization approach used in Japan. Many of the problems they go through do cross over to western comic production, but it makes you realize exactly how nuts the Japanese end of the business is...

Add: 61 chapters have been translated to english and posted at the below...they're trans from the serializations so no covers are included...stil worth a look...

    Rusty Brown

New Yorker (not a comic, I know, but awesome anyways!)

If you haven't read one of his graphic novels, you really should. He has a sense of design that is unrivaled in comics.

Love the Valhalla comics of Norse myths and legends, the first one here is a favourite.

Been reading Donald Duck and Scrooge's comics since I was a toddler. Don Rosa is a legend!

An alternative cover to Son of the Sun, hard to find, so ignore the calendar border!
