Well you could just google it, but my favourite is Lord Frederick Leighton, even though he's only loosely associated with them.

Yes, they came from Venus in a mahogany box carried by angels. They were exiled by the inhabitants of that planet because they could only tolerate abstract expressionism there and had no time for mamby pamby romantics.
Its worth having a look at Jackson Pollock in this regard since he was really a Venusian whose real name was Splatts an' Dollop.

There are still places called libraries, and bookshops, where they have things called books, containing printed text and pictures. You can use these to find the information needed to do your homework, instead of asking people here to do it for you.

There's also Google - how difficult is it to type in "pre-raphaelite"?

The Pre-Raphaelites called themselves that because they came slightly before the Raphaelites. They were a highly successful art movement, moving, as they did, vast quantities of art from one place to another. These groups were followed by the Post-Raphaelites whose movement died out in the late 1920s with the advent of Google Images, which moved far more art than they could ever hope to. Google continues to this day although there are still some groups, notably the Lazyass Forum-Posters, who refuse to acknowledge its existance.

Thank you everyone for pointing out that I am a lazy ass, deep down I most of always known but it took you guys for me to really realise it, I have changed my life since you posted these messages, I have gone back to my wife and kids and am now gonna be a good husband and farther and really buckle down so I can be someone they are proud of, not just the guy who took a dump in a hat and left in on there doorstep.

Anyhow anyone who could actully help me could you please leave me a message, when I first posted this I didnt have much time I had to do it college casue there was something wrong with my home connection and I only had a minuite to write it.

My nowledge on the Pre Raphelites isnt very vast, I borrowed a book from my college and I really didnt get the concept of the movement. From what I read in the book It was somesort of renagade movement Started in the 19th century. from simple observation I would say that they are a mixture of religion and myth but I dont understarnd why that was to renagade for the time. I love Paintings with an intresting subject matter weather it be religion, mythology or folklore which is why I really enjoy the art of JW Waterhous's Paintings and and František Kupka. I love Waterhouse's Paintings of the Nymphs best, Hylas and the Nymphs is my favourite by him, the detail and the composition are amazing, he is why Im looking into this art movement but im struggling to find other artists for me to copare to so if some one could tell me an artist from this movement that they are particully found of or evan a simpler observation of the movement I would be greatfull.
    Thanks

Perhaps you should work on your time management, because you can't use your own procrastination as an excuse for not doing the work.

Also: all of your questions could be answered in under 5 minutes using that mystical tool known as "Wikipedia." Seriously: basic research isn't hard. In fact it's really, really easy.

You're still a lazy ass. There's tons of info out there, all you had to do was type "pre-raphaelites" into google:

I found an awesome list online. It took about 3 seconds, and it involved Google and the words "list", "Pre-Raphelite", and "artists". I don't want to spoil the surprise, so I'll let you work out the rest of the puzzle from there.

Of course. Why would you believe the largest dynamic encyclopaedic source of referenced information in the world when you could cut and paste a stranger's comment from a forum?

Tell me: have you spent any time, whatsoever, doing any research at all?

And if you're so opposed to wikipedia (as well as opposed to working/researching for yourself), then maybe you should visit one of the sacred sites known as a "library." I hear they're still scattered across the globe in dark, hidden places.

    *sigh*

The sad thing is that if he'd spent more than a nanosecond doing his basic homework, there are quite a few CA posters with a decent knowledge of the Pre-Raphs and Victorian Romantics who would have been perfectly happy to help him fill in the details...

Nobody likes a lazy poster..Google first.

The Pre-Raphaelites were pretty badass. There was a great exhibition of their work in Nationalmuseum in Stockholm earlier this year. The important thing to remember is to separate the original members of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and the artists that were influenced by them. I would say that Leighton's paintings, for example, are pretty far from the Pre-Raphelite aesthetic, but he was of course associated with them and influenced by them.
