His eyes are looking too big. Just the height of them, it's making him look like a little kid. You might want to tone them down a bit.

    harrelson derp derp derp

@lowkey: thanks lowkey, i hope so , will continue studies, i've been slacking on it lately. haven't done any crimson sessions lately either, just been doing my own studies :3

hahaha... just a small update on the woody portrait.. i don't know everytime i look at this, i want to put a caption going "HURRR DURRRRR derp derp derp..."

anyways, i elongated his face a bit more (woot warp tool :3) and I sorta fixed the eyes. I know they are right with the ref. pic, but I think it's the lighting that makes the eyes look "big" or popping out. They do look less big though.. right? (>.<")

    zomg sketches!

@Spaggen: thanks bud! now to complete Tallahassee, just need to give him a Twinkie haha xD.

here are a few sketch/studies/imagination from Friday and this Saturday morning

I mixed in a few loomis studies... then I was led astray by doing my own thing.. haha

:3... drawing hands is pretty fun, so I did a collage of my left hand and trying to interpret the right hand. Hand gestures were drawn during work this morning.

As for imagination sketches... I don't know... it seems like my creativity is deteriorating after looking at these and comparing them with my sketches on my first post xD... well I hope that's not the case... perhaps it's artist's block or too much straight studies rather than exercising my imagination.. 3':

Btw... how do you put text in between images on posts xD I'd much rather have these captions below each image instead of all the text being at the beginning of the post lololololz... i are noob!!

Exercise your creativity, it's good. There are sketchbooks filled with only studies, and they look boring in comparison to someone who does both. You can be the best at drawing technically, but draw nothing interesting out of imagination. Studies are awesome when they're mixed with you trying to apply it imaginatively.

Perhaps you could do something like CHOW along with them.

@Enydimon: thanks for the helpful words enydimon. yes, after I've started doing studies to improve my art, I have totally strayed off my creative path, gonna get back into gear with imagination while incorporating new-found knowledge xD

anyways, didn't get to upload this from last night. trying some studies on the tablet, loomis to doing my own poses

    quick char sketchup

woke up this morning to do a pretty quick generic character sketch. it's pretty sloppy since i was in a hurry, i wanted to do this before i head out to work. anyways, i wanted to go for a turnaround, but i ended up sticking with just the frontal view. xD

woah is that woody allen from zombieland. awesome.

also your studys are great. one thing that i realised is that you have a very messy shading. i do the same because im very impatient, but you should try to make it more methodical and clean.

    @Joce: thanks buddy, will do!

@Qikalain: haha thanks Qikalain, yeah it's woody harrelson bro! about the shading, i will try to improve on that more, it's just i tend to like my shading to look messy xD. but you're right, making shading more clean will make the images more believable. b(^-^d)
