    still life finished

finally getting this still life out of the way. Rendering metal objects is a challenge, so definitely going to work on that for the next still life. It was good practice for coloring overall. The lighting is a bit off due to working on this @ different times of the day, which I don't recommend if your light source is natural light + indoor light.

    flidias A - B

found an old sketch of my interpretation of Flidias (Irish mythology), before I had studied anatomy..

and then I did another sketch up of Flidias today at work, after having some knowledge of anatomy...

not sure if there are major changes o.O

    hey teapo!

you crazy fool!!... you are smashing everything at once! persepective, still life.. colour! slow down, you are making the rest of us look bad.

I just did some metal still life the other day. the trick to it is it's all in the reflections. glass is the same... it's ALL reflections and refractions.

keep up the studies! more more more!

Woody is lookin great man, your anatomy studies are also progressing, can really tell they've been helping with your concept work. Did you ever finish the one with the guy riding the bird? would love to see the fully rendered version.
