    Concept: Satyr Slayer

    This parasitic grub is the larvae of a special strain of fruit fly. It is injected into the flesh of the grape by the parent fly, where it attaches an umbilical-like chord to the stem of its makeshift womb, sapping the nutrients from the vines on which they grow. Left to take its course, the grub will expend the grape's resources, before using its sharp mandibles to eat its way out and emerge as an adult fly, starting the cycle over.

    Satyr's are famed for eating copious amounts of grapes, and so it is these mythical beasts that are the Satyr Slayer's main "prey", though it's process could be described passive aggressive more so than antagonistic. An ironic yet strategic twist of nature means that the larvae strongly resemble the seeds of the grape, and so are often mistakenly consumed in the eating process. The grub, now without a nutrient sack in which to incubate, and having lost its ability to judge it's level of maturity, sends out new roots into the digestive tract of its unwary host.

    It remains beyond the reach of digestive acids, lodged in the wall of it's surrogate womb, where it grows exponentially, sapping on the nutrients of Satyrs and causing significant swelling and pain. Once the host becomes too weak, the Satyr Slayer dislodges itself from the stomach wall, and passes through both the small and large intestines, before eating its way out of the host's anus, leaving a trail of shredded organs and bloody pulp in its wake.

    Concept: Satyr Slayer - Piping Prowler

    The "Satyr Slayer" is also known by the names "Piping Prowler" and "Pan's Bane". Living deep within the heart of the forest, this solitary and territorial predator has a unique way of hunting its favorite prey. By drawing air through a specialized snout and diverting it through the pipe-like horns sprouting from the base of its skull, the Piping Prowler creates a haunting mimicry of the "pan flutes" used by satyrs to communicate over short distances. Once a Slayer has lured a lone or small group of satyrs deep into the heart of its hunting grounds, it ambushes them using its sharp claws and elongated canines to sinister effect.

    Concept: Satyr Slayer

    A nocturnal hunter, this creature does not infact prey soley on satyrs, but its highly sensitive vision is often attracted by movement of satyrs dancing and celebrating in the woods over which these fierce predators hunt. Using its powerful limbs and vicious talons the Satyr Slayer swoops numerous times on groups of its prey, dealing as much damage as possible before landing to devour its meal. Its darker underside and silent flight means it's prey rarely know of their fate until well after their limbs have been removed.

    Concept: Satyr Slayer

    Born of an unholy union of spider, auroch, wolf, and minotaur.
    Mainly created and kept as pets for elvish necromancers to gather the blood and horns of satyrs for their evil spells. They are rarely seen far from their master.

    Just an unholy bird of prey, with a thick skull to stand the happy satyr hooves...
    Ah!, that red sack under his neck is used to produce nice wistling songs to attract... you know... those filthy satyrs that enjoy so much dancing and using the pipe...

    PS: this is so similar to radius... D: coincidence? or convergent evolution?

    Concept: Chromatic Forest Fisher

    Passing above the canopy of the deep forests,
    the Fishers home in on their ancient enemy;
    The Satyr.
    Those cowardly creatures who hunt the young Fishers for sport,
    not even for food do they kill them.
    And so the adult Chromatic Forest Fisher does return the favour;
    Satyr Slayers.
    The word ‘anarchy’ comes from the ancient Greek αναρχία in which αν meant ‘without’ and αρχία meant first a military ‘leader’ and then ‘ruler’. Anarchist society is one ‘without rulers’: a classless, non-hierarchical society.

    C.O.W. #160 -- Satyr Slayer -- VOTING
    Description: The Satyr have, for centuries, fled their creator, the mad deity Bacchus, who in his rage cursed them with the forms of beasts. In terror they escaped his realm of illusion and intoxication and made their way to the forests of the land, intending to hide from him for all time.
    They were betrayed. A faction of the Satyr known as the Blackening Bark let slip news of their escape to Bacchus. He reached down and planted his mark upon their brows, smoking and vile, and they were transfigured utterly into foul devils. Now they walk in every Satyr's shadow, waiting to tear their heart out and eat their life.

    my idea
    satirists are to love sex and go to the forest in search of nymphs to meet your needs.
    the satyr slayer uses that crush, because in his back grows a woman, that he does is call the attention of satirists, when they reach the hunter and he
    turn around and zass !

    Concept : Satyr Slayer

    Very fast in short distances, this creature is a fierce predator, they mainly eat deers, but they're favorite food is Satyr meat, its one of the only creature capable of hunting down Satyr, so that's why their common name is Satyr slayer.
