Question looking for some dynamic black and white/ink patterns or abstracty sort of art

a friend of mine asked me to point him towards some art/artists who do this sort of stuff

looking for some dynamic black and white/ink patterns or abstracty sort of art
looking for some dynamic black and white/ink patterns or abstracty sort of art

not necessarily strict patterns, but not necessarily escher. just alot of movement and usage of space.

i did a little bit of googling but all i could really yield was very highschool "draw on my binder" type stuff.

i know i've come across artists who do alot of great stuff with line weight and movement and obsessive-compulsive patterning but never really bookmarked it.

    any help?

I'm not sure how abstract you need it, but Harry Clarke uses a lot of heavy patterning in his work. Nocloo has nearly all his work uploaded.

I could generate some fractal images and then pass them through a transformation to "two color" for you. It would probably only take about five minutes per image.

Maybe you can do it yourself.

I think that most black and white / Ink artists create similar patterns within their work unintentionally. I'm particularly infatuated by Dore's hatching patterns...
