    Tablet other than wacom?

Is there any other direct-drawing tablets out there that may be less expensive (but hopefully as reliable) as the wacom cintiq?

I have an intuos 4 but want to upgrade eventually.

    thanks you guys.

Also, is the 12 cintiq the same as the 21 just smaller? Anyone know? Any differences?

In my professional opinion, there is only one tablet...and that is Wacom. You can, however, get something like a Wacom Bamboo and they aren't very expensive at all and work just fine.

The variants out there, arenīt worth it, and they would only compare to a bad Bamboo or something. I had a Genius 4x5 and i tought it worked just fine, till i used a wacom and saw i didnīt need to drawn so hard.

Since you have Intuos 4, the next move can only be a Cintiq. Or a tablet PC...

keep in mind that cintiqs use i3 technology (afaik) so if you have an i4 aleady, you'll be downgrading the tech.

If you have a Wacom there's nowhere to upgrade to, apart from a newer version. It's a peculiar situation but I assume they just have a lot of patents on the technology.
