    Wow!! Great work. Truly stunning.
The only thing for me is that most of your pieces have a bright white highlight. It definitely has a nice effect but it's sometimes seems out of place with the environment.

Hey man, nice update, the fat guy is awesome, totally awesome, just unique. So much stuff is sooo run of the mill these days - even the things which are well painted, nice clean character designs etc, yet there's something stale about them I feel, they all seem to look the same. Sounds cheesy, but at least you're 'thinking out the box' with your stuff and it shows

I've noticed some folks talk about a plastic photoshoppy look here and there but I don't think yours has it at all, I could tell you stuff out of a crowd a mile off. You could possibly incorporate more textures and custom brushes, or at least mess about and experiment a bit - but if it detracts from your style then maybe not worth it, never hurts to mess about though!

Man, I love your paintings so much, I am such a big fan. Your paintings have such a wonderful depth, form and life to them, whenever I see them it inspires me to paint

I don't want to sound cheeky but do you think you could ever upload some of your old works from when you first began painting digitally? I find it so inspirational to view how awesome artists develop in to the professionals they are today

You're without a doubt one of the most talented folks on this board. The way you model such solid 3-dimensional form with light is hugely inspiring. Your color choices and compositions are also a cut above what I see from most concept artists. If I can attain just 1/10th of your skill by the time I die, I will die happy.

That said, I know it's been brought up a few times and I'm sure you're conscious of it, but the sharp, hot white highlights you like to use I think are hurting the believability of some of your surfaces, especially skin. It works for the slimy non-human creature stuff but take your character on page 2. His face looks more like plastic than flesh. It gives off a "quick 3D render from a few years ago" vibe. Like a really high-rez model in the Doom 3 engine (if you ever played that game or have seen it).

I know you're into the gross, horror type stuff (which is awesome), so I think if you're wanting the most visceral impact from your audience, it would behoove you to make your flesh look more... fleshy.

Now, in your "Asking for Directions" piece, the woman's skin looks great and realistic so maybe you've got a reason for all this.

Anyway, you've got an amazing career ahead of you for sure and I will definitely be checking out whatever tutorials or guides you put out as I have a lot to learn.

Crazy-ass FFG work man! solid golds all round
The Dark Heresy character does it for me... such an expressive stance, and brilliant rendering
That said, putting in more soft edges wouldn't hurt... =) some of your works have a sharpness of highlights and edges that... kinda dents the believability abit

Another little mini-dump from last year.
Tight deadline on these babies, so I didnt get to do everything I wanted to with them.
That, combined with the work being from early 2009/late 2008 really had me hesitant to post these latest 3 additions since ive learned - and changed - a lot of things in my approach and execution.

But I figured why the hell not, it was the best I could do at the time and under the time constraints.
    Enjoy!

DAMN! That savage ork piece is GREAT! so much movement and the Blackork piece below it is dope too. I wonder if the Deep Ones are going to be the new mystery race in WFB Games Workshop has been whispering about.

Wicked work as always, Brad! Classic Cryptcrawler. I like the last one most, but to my eye it seems to have a bit of a distracting tangent going on between the forefront creatures arm and the background sky in the way the bottom of the cloud lines up with the underpart of it's left arm. Some depth kind of gets lost, but seriously, it's not a huge deal. It's just a tad distracting. Otherwise, I love the characterizations in all the pieces and your value range and attention to details is excellent.

always a pleasure seeing your work sir, and dont you ever hesitate to put your old stuff, because it doesn't really matter how well it is done at the end if the concept is strong then it is worth seeing nonetheless, I personally enjoy seeing a well thought concept and original characters then super rendered pieces, in your case its both!

    These are fantastic!
However I feel as though you use digital 3d modeling for your pieces. Which is fine, but I do wish you painted over them so hard I wouldn't of noticed.

(If you don't use 3d models, then I am a complete idiot and I apologise for my assumption)

Hi brad! dude i dont mean to kiss your ass but each time i see your threads i get inspired in 2 ways.
First way is by of course the beautiful artwork and the very distinctive rendering you have that absolutely amazes me {and if i wasnt living currently in a goddamned third world country like Venezuela that has currency exchange control i would have bought your tutorial AGES ago}.
And second by how incredible humble and grateful you are, and i think thats the most inspiring to me, the world would be a better place with more people like you men seriously. Keep up the good work my friend and keep inspiring us lesser mortals

I love how you get such a painterly feel with your rendering especially noticeable with horns on the first piece. The smudge technique is working for you Great stuff as usual man.
