    Thumbs up JUMP the vote

    hey guys,

Scott Fischer, a long time forum member and artist has a great children's book that is in the running to be put into cheerios boxes in 2010,

lets flex some conceptart.org muscle and put him over the top.

his book is on the second page and its called Jump.

    http://promo.simonandschuster.com/ch...-poll/poll.php

and if you needed another reason to vote for him check out this video,! , what a Renaissance man,

    good luck Scott.

is it possible to post some of his art up here to let us have a look before simply voting? A quick google search didn't turn up much for the book itself, although there were other pieces of his art.

Thanks for the link. I saw a little of his art already, and thought it was good, but you're all right he is a fantastic artist.

17% as of my voting. Let's knock that purple bastard out of the top ranking!

Just a note, you can vote once per day in the poll, so even if you've voted already, go back often to keep Scott in the top five. Here's a youtube link of the vid Andrew posted, which includes some of the art from the book http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54n5QN01PcE. Be sure to check out Scott's site for other amazing work too!!

edit: Didn't see Scott's CA post about the book before. Go check it out here!!

    This statement scares me!
Don't vote for him/her/it just because he/she/it are part of this community.

    Now, I won't vote for him/her/it.

BTW, celebrities like Steven Colbert do this all the time.

And, if you noticed one of the books in the top spots is by Michael Ian Black, who will and does use his fan base.

EDIT: Oh, and not supporting someone because of a statement made by a completely unrelated individual, instead of basing it on the actual candidate, puts you in the same boat, just on the opposite end.

I'm not easily scared, my friend. Besides people don't want independent thought, that's fine.
I don't like it when people are used for someone else's gain.

Very True! That was a really bad Ad hominem attack at someone I don't know.

Now, let's just say I'm not voting two-fold 1) internet voting doesn't work
And 2) I detest Pure Democracy

Flashback- Okay, that I'll buy. However, if you haven't, check out Scott's sketchbook. He's got some great work to look at, whether you vote for him or not.
