Dude Android, thanks for bringing attention to this! I just caught wind of this thread two seconds ago!

Guys, I'd love your vote, but totally understand if you feel another book is more worthy! You are a bunch of artists after all! I am psyched your attention is getting drawn to it though!

It is a weird contest in that many of the books, like mine, are not even out yet, and some have been out for a while. I really am a bit of an underdog here. Up against dudes like Michael Ian Black who has over a million twitter followers! Best selling authors. There is even a Nobel prize winner! This is my second kids book ever, it is a miracle I am even in the running, some on the list have 100s of books.

And really you guys have been great in the finished art thread too! I couldn't ask for more.THANK YOU SO MUCH CA!!!

    Android, you rock bro!

Here is a link if you want to learn more about JUMP see art and the contest itself-

And if you want a laugh, here is a link to my Youtube videos. I've made one for every day of the competition!

    Thanks for your consideration!

The vote link- everyone gets one vote a day, and it ends tonight at midnight central time.

I should add too that the top 5 get into cereal boxes! So Jump stands a good chance, especially with your help!

Also I do not profit from this other than my book getting into the hands of a zillion kids! I make no money off of it and neither does my publisher. Just the thought of it in a million kid's breakfast, and the donations that go to First Book... blows my mind!

    Thanks again guys!

First let me start with his work being the best in the competition but he is a great person beyond his work.

I have never met Fischer in person he probably doesn’t remember me or my conversation I had with him thought email, but I needed help with a job I had (Book Cover) that was in direct competition with him so I didn’t think he would help me but I asked anyway and he responded like if I knew him for a long time and gave me unrestricted advice that was very helpful. He didn’t know me and didn’t even have to answer my email like so many others do.
This forum has helped my career and kept me afloat in bad time.

So support your fellow artist because I know at the very least Fischer will support you.

I voted... I really hope you win, your entry is in my opinion, by far the best one there.
If he wins I'll be buying cheerios for the next year, just so I can see his work on the box!

    Poll still running!!!

Freakin AWESOME Jason!!! I never imagined such a push! CA ROCKS!!

So here is the weird thing, the rules say the competition ended last night at 11:59pm, BUT I am getting reports form all over the place that the polls are still moving? I am totally confused by this, and with the way this contest has gone it makes me nervous.

So if you guys still feel like rocking the vote, I would appreciate the safety net very much!!

The good news is the top 5 get into cereal boxes, and we are holding the third spot! That is what is important!

So please if you still feel like voting, go for it! Everyone gets to vote once a day! I am not sure if they will count, but would rather lean on the side of safety.

Wow, when I thought you guys were already amazing, you become even more amazing!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks you CA!

Got Jason's newsletter, checked out the other entries, and voted for JUMP Good luck, but it's looking good already.

(Although I'm kind of sad now that I won't get to see it because there's no Cheerios in Germany. Sucks.)
