Really nice sketchbooks, you have a nice understanding of colors and lighting. There are some minor anatomy issues here and there but nothing serious. Keep the good stuff rolling.

Thanks LordVenom. I hear the anatomy issue pretty often, guess I have to do some more figure study soon to get better. Maybe I will have to review the Marshal Vandruff Anatomy for Artists once again.

Thank you for dropping by and for the kind commets miycko

Here is a little more advanced wip version of my archer/nun/vampire slayer. Have to finish her until Tuesday ... but now I need to sleep

I started my first master study today. Nevertheless I decided to change the female character in the piece " La Source" from Ingres. Looking to get a little closer to the actual colour of the piece and its mood without colour picking.

@greyskill: thanks a lot for the praise, I feel really motivated

@kmoeni: It is still wip but I think I'll keep this colour pattern if you like it. thanks for dropping by.

@Ivan:Thanks to you too, really helping with the images progress!

@Mantis: Cheers mate! Thanks for the kind words.

I have some progress of the Ingres Master study. After I moved the reference between my monitors my eyes nearly popped out after seeing how different they interpret the colour of the piece... I have to adjust a lot more on the colours but I feel like I already learned a ton!

Sorry I don't get it Slobosaurus

Thank you Lyon, I think I will keep the step by step progress up as good as I can. Maybe I will write a little more if some are interested in my thought progress.

Thanks greyskill, I'll definitely be back at your sketchbook so keep the updates coming ;D

The current piece I'm working on will be my first attempt on a comic genre. Since I'll attend the Made Symposium in Berlin, I thought it would be a good idea to add some of those to my little portfolio Since this is pretty difficult for me and I don't have a lot of comic experience, I appreciate every feedback!

Since the announcement of Marvel vs Capcom 3 was made not long ago I decided to dedicate my picture to the game. I simply chose my favourite characters so I can draw characters I always enjoyed ;D Hope you can already see who they are

Thanks LAL really appreciate the kind words!

Hey Vatsel welcome back, improvement is the best compliment of all

I hope you like the Marvel vs Capcom piece also after I coloured it Chr. Steam

Thanks monsi, I will and here is something new

I was just in the mood to do something I don't do a lot, besides comics. Now it'S cartoonish comics.. don't know if that makes any sense. A little piece about peter parker picking on clumsy and overweight venom. Spiderman is a bitch!

Danny_K thanks man, still trying to get the anatomy correct but i guess you have some more freedom with comics.

surus I already kind of finished my asian themed project but well it is a great influence to me so once in a while I'm sure another piece will pop out As far as pencil sketches, I will scan some stuff over the weekend because I'm at my parents house and I have no scanner myself at the moment.

    Martell.Joshua THANKS! ... I guess

monsi Thanks it was really fun to make.

Hatonacat Thanks a lot, after being inspired by your awesome characters there is no way I will stop posting any time soon ^^

Damn there is one even meaner thing than being woken up by a loud alarm clock... having a cramp in the leg before you are even awake... crazy start for the day. Well I did not manage to do a lot yesterday but here is a WIP of a weapon design I call "hunger". There are blades at the handle and they cut open the hand of its wielder. Because of the blood smeared blade it is possible to draw it quicker from it's scabbard. Got the idea from the animes Katanagatari.
Well I'm going home now to draw, work is over maybe I'll udate again later. Sry for all the text I feel chatty today ;;D
