Nice work man. Cool to see you still hammering those heads! One thing I notice is that you kinda draw the eyes always as if they were seen straight on. Which makes the head in a 3/4 angle look flat. I like to think of the eye as a slice of an orange and how that turns in space. Also I have a pocket mirror on my desk that I can peek at when I need help with perspective etc.
If you haven's checked it out already, heres a site with a bunch of notes from art classes by a K. Chen. http://www.angelfire.com/art3/kchendemos/

    Keep up the good work!

I think right now most of the time you're concentrating on "eyes-nose-mouth" thing, try to see human head as a whole, like clay, with it's bumps and points, oh yea and think in 3D! Where the light is coming from, how the surface will react on it...
    Hope that helps! More updates!)

Hi Kungfoo, hope you are well!

Nice progression since I was last here.

I never know what to say for specific crits, my mantra is always practice makes perfect - and you seem to be hitting all the right areas. One thing which helps me is draw from reference then draw the same thing from memory afterwards, sometimes the same thing several times from ref and mem until I learnt it at least somewhat!

    Keep it up mate.

Hey man crazy good improvement since i last checked in here your studies are lookin wayyy better. your really getting good at those studies I do agree with loathsome tho you seem to be jumping between thoughtfull carefull strokes to rough hurried ones and i totally understand some times you feel like you have to get as many studies in at once. also your having trouble with spatial relationships and placing objects incorrectly so... solving this is just a matter of finding an accurate way of measuring your subject so you can place everything correctly there are several methods for measuring Tony Ryder has a book on figure drawing that does a good job of describing ways to measure and there are some good notes on the subject in the book of bones (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...=26748&page=12) keep practicing hope that made sense and helped if not feel free to ignore it
