Decided on Frank. I'm gonna do some texture, scars and steam punky add ons, but this is the basic stance. I was thinking of torches in the foreground.

I think I'll skip this round, I need to work on my proportions instead since they're horrible.

But good luck to all of you on this! Looking forward seeing the final entries!

You can work on your proportions and make a monster, Lord M, that is what the CHOW is for

Here's my take. Creature from the Black Lagoon:

Wanted to get away from the "man in suit" proportions. I really love the look of the claws in the movie, and went ahead and made them larger and more animalistic. Also I'm going for more crustaceious body structure, with like a crab like body armor. And I added a tail, which I'm not crazy about the position and will probably move it down somewhat.

Very true. Even though I missed the deadline for the last CHOW, I still learned quite a bit about a number of things - importance of thumbnails, my weakness with certain anatomical concerns, etc. - all of which I will take with me to this CHOW.

Oh.. well... ok then! You convinced me. I'll try and finish it, working on the proportions as I go.

Thanks for talking me back into it, because I really wanted to do this CHOW. I just hope I get enough time over from the uni aswell...

I was listening to some black metal (again) and ended up deciding on a metal band shot but hey, maybe it'll change again... two weeks is a long time...
The word ‘anarchy’ comes from the ancient Greek αναρχία in which αν meant ‘without’ and αρχία meant first a military ‘leader’ and then ‘ruler’. Anarchist society is one ‘without rulers’: a classless, non-hierarchical society.

well this might count for nothing (being the 3/4 character showing rule) but hey, it was a great Basil Gogo's study and I really liked the results, and wanted to share it. I'll probably still submit it, unless the community thinks that's wrong. Just don't have time to do a body painting as well, I'm trying to do the creature competition.

    anyway, enjoy guys.

Vampire Ninja - this IS a two week CHOW, you know. That means there is plenty of time to get the other 1/2 of the character you need to meet the rule requirements. It'd be a shame to waste the work you have done so far.
