This looks like it could be fun.

Maybe someone who knows french can be kind enough to explain what the trailer's all about tho...

Looks great! I'm glad Jolly Jumper talks like he does in the comic books, I just wish I could speak French! I'm sure Terence Hill (Trinity) did some Lucky Lukes a few years ago. Guess there will be a subtitled version as well sometime...

    Awesome!

Wish I wasn't so out of practise with French, though.

Well, the only thing I got from the trailer was, "it's raining" "yep"

At least those six years of french back in school did something...

The trailer doesn't really say much about the plot: Lucky Luke has to restore the order in Daisy Town and, somehow, it seems Calamity Jane, Billy the Kid and Jesse James (I think) will get involved.

Calamity Jane and Jolly Jumper seem awesome enough for me to justify the price of entry (I also have loved the comic book series since I was a kid).

It's too bad that the release will most likely be limited to French-speaking countries since the Asterix movies didn't do well in English.

I hope some day the franco-belgium comics will garner as much enthusiasm in North America as manga, because there are tons of real gems out there

Well. Every Asterix movie has premiered in Sweden and I think that they've had a descent amount of viewers... So hopefully this'll come here too

And yeah. There are lots of really good french comics (Not that I'm an expert...) American comics are ok but it's nice to get away from the whole super hero fetisch every once in a while

The only French film that has ever been popular in the states that I know of is The Triplets of Belleville. And I happen to be familiar with Asterix, which spawned an arcade game by Konami I might add.
