Nice piece, really works as a thumbnail. I also like the way you've kept it looking 'painterly' (considering it's a PS piece of work), particularly around the hair in the foreground. Good stuff.

there's many pinup artists, Evlgren (sp) for instance, that I'd LOVE to see you do studies of.

    wow very nice!

I have one critique however, I think that the top orange slice should maybe be defined more. It just seems to distract from the beautiful rendering of the face.

I however, like as you look down the painting the work gets less detailed, this I think works to emphasis the face...

    hopefully that makes sense...

    Thanks a lot!

Here's another piece. Not too happy with it, so any crits you might have would be awesome.

love the colours in the last one, especially that lush green the left arm of the girl looks kinda off though, the upper arm seems too short and her face looks unfinished but other than that, it's a great image with a great atmosphere, congrats

    cheers, dave

very cute dragon or what it is. The kids look like they don't quite belong stylistically. Too many had edges compared to the rest perhaps? Might be the lighting...

You have a great style. I agree that creatures hair is perfectly fluffy, but even more impressive is the texture of that green moss or grass just above them. That too is very deliciously soft. I cant really see anything wrong with that left arm, I mean maybe the angle at the top of the shoulder is too sharp, but I dont know...It doesnt read as off to me.

All I can say is, when can we see the movie?
    and
when can we see more work?

Great job on the beastie in the second piece. Unfortunately, a mix of hard edges and flat forms in the kids means they don't sit comfortably with the rest of the image at all - it's almost as if they've been cut from a different painting. It doesn't help that they're physically separated from everything else by that mossy bank. I'd suggest changing the angle of the bank or pull the leftmost kid forward to break that imaginary barrier ( a side effect of this might be that they appear less well hidden which might up the tension of the scene ) and then look at softening the rendering in that area. The colours are a bit muddy around there too, maybe consider using a change in hue rather than value to indicate the shadowed areas?

I like the portrait too, though the change to loose and textural marks is rather abrupt. I think more texture and visible brush marks elsewhere would help this to feel more natural.
