Steampunk Star Wars - updated 03 November
Hello people of the internet!
Here is the final version of my Princess Leia interpretation.
I also got an email from a woman who made a costume out of my design.
She did a GREAT job, I am really impressed!
It was a lot of fun imagining this new world and it was a fun little project that is not finished, I have a lot of characters still to do.
Unfortunately I don't have a lot of time as my son and wife takes up a lot of my spare time. Hopefully I will have some more updates to show soon.
Here are some other links of people doing the same.

Fab Björn! She's great. I like the subtle stylisation as well.

its the details like the goggle-tan that make it awesome. really amazing!
-
-
Post them all, man! People need to see the rest of the gang.
-
-
hah the tan line from the goggles is a really neat touch man. As much as I'd like the see the whole cast it'll keep me entertained for longer to see each at a time and should really shine the spotlight on them individually as they deserve.

-
excellent
I really like the way you did the leather.

-
ah great design, i didn't know this 3d interpretation was based on your work
can't wait to see the rest

A small crit, the google shape doesn't fit withe the tan shape.

Figure has a wonderful sense of solidity to it, especially through the torso. Nice work.

These are turning out so well! The fact that people are recreating your ideas in real life shows the practicality, thought and planning that has gone into the images. I'm so glad your working hard to finish these.
It would be awesome if you created an image with the whole gang together, I'm sure it would sell as a poster, though I appreciate how busy you are.
.........I cant wait to see someone make a real life recreation of your vision of Yoda, lol.

Oh man, that Yoda's a riot! Nice work, Hurri!

Wow, these are so cool. I love steampunk, and making Star Wars steampunk is even better! I love the small details you've done in your pictures, like the goggle tan-line (as others mentioned) and your interpetation of Yoda is great!

Hi Bjorn!
These are just great, and that girl's costume is pretty sweet too. Ahem.
But the Yoda is just amazing. I LOVE it. Your rendering is so spot on.
If I had one crit, then the bottom of Yoda's stool doesn't seem to work quite right for me. Is the bit at the bottom, just above the legs (that the glass jar is resting on) supposed to be a circular doughnut shape? If it is, then it doesn't fit with the perspective of the feet on the floor, and we should be able to see a little of the top of it. Do you know what I mean?
I hope stuff's super with you, and good to hear Hugo's doing well! I'll look forward to the 'surprise'...
We've just had another one! We've got a six-week old little girl, Rosie, who's keeping us up all night!
