You've got a bit of a Salvador Dali vibe going sometimes.

This is way fun to look at!

Wow, it's amazing how you can turn a scribble into an imaginative drawing. Cool stuff!

Hey ColorExcursion!! Thanks for dropping by my SB.
Some promising work here. I'd recommend some anatomical studies in books by Loomis or Bridgman.
    Keep posting my friend!!

Great doodles man, good imagination. One way to really improve your understanding of form and just add some more technical skill to your work is to do daily self portraits. I did those for a month, and I saw MASSIVE improvement, I mean MASSIVE. Just make sure to spend at least 45 min a day doing one self portrait, and it'll help you understand form and faces a lot more. A good way to get ready for university

I really like your stylized faces. That is a personal style which is quite difficult to achieve. Keep learning the technical aspects like anatomy etc and post some more finished stuff.

    Peace.

Good to see that you are working hard! Thanks for the post in my sb! I think it could be really helpful to your style if you learned to loosen up your drawings a little bit. Try doing some 30 second posemaniacs with a crayon, that will get you to loosen up your drawing arm a little bit.

Thanks again for your post, it was really encouraging!

The first one I did with no intention of it being sorta symmetrical. I was just trying to draw a line without messing with it. I'm pleased :]

The others are scribble sketches and some doodles

The last one was super enjoyable

Cool to see the experimentation you do, a sketchbook is great for that. Concerning self portraits, you say the one doesn't look like you, we'll I've done several self portraits and none look like me. As a matter of fact they all look different from each other! So don't let it get you down. We do it to learn from and the brain picks up new things each time we draw. So it can only help in the long run.

There's something really quirky about your drawings that I really like. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it's very intriguing.
