    aw shit, a centaur.
thats what i was doing. im a sagittarius, figured i'd do winter... im also part pawnee indian so i figured i'd throw a little bit of that in there too.

    pooh.
well, i'll atleast post the sketch and the color mockup i did last night.
maybe i'll try a different idea... but ya know, yours is SUMMER.
they could be like total enemies and do battle with eachother, that'd be fun.

    NEVER FORGET TO SAVE!!!

Jeez...I've been working on a character all day. It took me ages to get the anatomy right....as far as I'm able to that is. Well. okay, that took me about I don't know 2 to 2,5 hours, right? Everything went well, or so I thought. I had the design layed out and I was actually working on a background with some animals, which I never drew before. The design itself wasn't that great or anything but I was getting rather proud on the background....guess what...Photoshop crashed! I didn't save for about two hours....so...bye bye two hours of my life....

This is what I have left.

I wanted to so something with drapery. I saw the girls use a lot of drapery in the last round and I wanted to paint drapery as well....well in a self portrait round it's weird to paint yourself in a dress....if you're male that is.

So I would be an idiot not to take that chance and paint drapery in this round. I intended to draw Autumn but as I progressed it turned more and more into Spring. I don't know what I'm gonna do now, Autumn or Spring. To be honest I lost all motivation for today so I'm gonna leave you with what I have for now.

I hope I can work on it tomorrow

No worrys actually while my version of Summer is a tauric creature it isn't
exactly a centaur. The bottom half of mine is going to be a wolf. I wanted
something with a more predatory feel than a horse.

Sentinel: It's looking awesome the colours work really well. Yeah I bet reflective and refractive serfaces are a bitch to get right. If you work it out please tell me how!

LostFayth: I feel your pain! But hey the pose looks nice, though I'm not sure if the head could'nt be a little larger.

TheDirtSyndicate: Your line art is f@ckin wicked! I want to see that showdown!

Looking awesome Carnifex! Your color scheme is spot on.

Thanks GEB - I'm glad the colors look good to you, because I'm checking it out on a different monitor and the colors are really crazy looking. Either this monitor needs to be calibrated, or my laptop is lying to me, ha. That redish overlay I used to warm it up a little is shining through too much and it's way too green on the bottom on this screen. Ugh...
