My sketchbook so people stop hating.

People hate me ><....So to please them and to come in their good grace (sp?), I made a sketchbook.

Are you left-handed? People tend to "slant" drawings if they're not careful, I -think- it's away from your dominant side but I can't really remember. Anyways there's a bit of a right slant to the portrait. Fix this by flipping your canvases (digital) or looking at your work upside down or in a mirror (traditional).

I agree with Randis, it's definitely a good start. Not bad at all.. now for some more!!

(floating apple, I keep forgetting to finish my shadow plane)

    Trying to study colour theory.

Nothing to do with the above, but,

The issue I have is this:

    -With rim lighting:

Your shadows are going to be anteriorly, in the front yeah?....if I use a dark cobalt blue for my shadows, the shadow plane will try to recede, since blue is cold...BUT IT'S NOT, it's in the front, because I'm using RIM LIGHTING. It's really hard to pull this off.
