Man dude, some of that is pretty deep. I dig the gritty effect you have in each piece. It really help drive it home and put your mind in the place it needs to be fore this. If I stare at some of them a bit too long I even get a little teary-eyed. They're emotional and easy to relate to. Damn good job, that is all I got for you. You got a style and it's working, keep it up bro.

You couldn't be nicer. Thank you all!
Here are some work-in-progress steps for the first image with the metal chicken and worm:

Except for the first sketch, that has been made with pencil (2B) on paper (10x15cm), the rest is 100% Photoshop.
If you have any questions, please ask.

    Cheers,

    D.

@Hyptosis: these kind of feelings are exactly the ones I'd like to transmit someday to the beholders; I'm so happy to know that it has started to work already. Thank you!

Beautiful work - the first in particular. What I really like is the way that you orchestrate your forms one into another to produce the emotional tone of the work. The volumes slip and slide into each other like little 'sentences' of formal feeling. They work on you in just the same way that looking at Greek sculpture does - the fact they are robots etc is bye the bye. Wonderful, thanks for posting.

Thanks for the process shots, always nice to see how people go about their paintings. New one looks great, nice textures! Though I can't stop looking at the "new model" picture, just works so well.

Thank you all! You're such a band of rockn'rollers!
I appreciate your nice comments a lot... but DON'T BE AFRAID OF BEING HARSH AND MEAN!!! Most of times, negative comments help more then positive ones... well, with "negative" I meant "constructive, corrective".

    Cheers!

I would love to be harsh and help out with great feedback but I can't, your work rocks too much! I would be interested to know how you achieve that textured gritty effect in your pics as I have not achieved the like myself....yet.

Awesome work Daniel! Thanks for posting your process images. I really love the way you render scratches on metal. The one that jumped out at me was in the mother holding her child, the hands are not as rendered as the rest of the piece and it's a focal point in the composition. Excellent colors and natural feel. Keep going! I look forward to seeing more.

Amazing work Danieligarza's! What's your process in achieving such wonderful texture in the Chicken and worm piece? They have a great distressed look.
