Happy Hell - cheerful wrongdoings by Happy Satan

    Hi all.

So - this'll be my sketchbook. Boy, I'm so excited!

My name is Mash. I study animation in Bezalel, Israel. This sunday I shall embark upon my penultimate 3rd year in the academy, where I'm going to be majoring in 3D animation, but my true love definitely lies here - in drawing stuff...

So without further ado - this is stuff I draw, just to start things off.

    Will post more soon.

    EDIT - current latest work:

thanks to all who commented before. drapery studies are indeed badly needed, that's well noticed. i will be sure to do a few this summer.

my 3rd year is over, finally. this is the result - my 3d animation project:

so this is what's kept me off these forums all this time, and here i am, back as usual, for the summer.

    here's some stuffs.

    mmmm new stuff.

these figures are also posted here (rest isn't) but from now on i'll just post everything in the Sketchbook cuz blah updating 2 separate threads.

the white wisps/dark running girls are abandoned character design for my graduation project, a video game called Lucid

beneath those you can see Claire (the main character of the game) next to a concept of her mother.

    anyways. drawrings:

i've been trying to do a Posemaniacs session every night... last few nights are not scanned in yet, but here's some work from today.

also, a self portrait from memory that turned out better than any ones from observation (wtf? O.o), and a weird speed-wtf painting.

lastly - some beauty shots of the Hi-res version of Claire, the main character of our game/graduation project. (note that this is a temporary paint in Zbrush, the shading in the game is going to be a subtle cell-shader with some fuzz for her hair and RT simulation, so it won't look like a plastic helmet ).

the hi-poly model is being baked onto the in-game low-poly model, shots of the final model to come.

I keep finding all these people on this critique site that I can't possibly critique

I LOVE your work. It has so much character and spunk, even your sketches. I look forward to seeing more!

Woo that guy with the helmet is some next level shizzle. That is quality stuff! I also really dig that capoeira sketch and the surprised Captain America Oh and the first sketch of the man in your last post. Great stuff.

There seems to be a big leap from your worst stuff to your best, but I reckon that also has alot to do with how long you've spent on the pieces respectively.
