I like what you have for your creature and mechanical designs, but I think that your composition needs a bit of work. Then again, I need to work on mine as well.

Sure you're improving at a fast pace, since I last visited! This robot piece is really good. I've got some small critiques:
The robot's right hand doesn't "pop out" too much, which is kinda weird considering that it's in first term. A few white glows in the fingers would definitely help.
Also, A bit of work in the shadow (more defined, and darker in the tips of the legs) would help in giving the impression that the robot is actually touching the ground. The rising front-left leg is a bit distracting, I would have it touching the floor as well.
    Anyway, good work!
    Keep it up man

Cheers guys, my composition has always been an issue and is something I'm defo keen to remedy, so all crits are more than welcome :o)

Have done a few more I'm hoping you'll crit me on. The dragon pics are for a short story I'm working on, and is a nice opportunity to try a softer more child friendly style. While the vehicles are just good practice as Sci-fi is another thing I've struggled with, so really want sort the look of different materials.

Fantastic stuff GEB, your values and colours are top notch. Excellent variety of work here too which is good to see. I especially love your painting of the dragon sitting on the lighthouse. I'm just a little sad that there isn't more! I'll be keeping my eye out for your next update.

Really cool stuff you got here. Creature designs are really nice and I really like those landscapes from your last pot, especially the middle one.

whoaaa, that picture of the dragon on the lighthouse with the lightning. T_T so cool. i can see where you're stronger with creatures than you are with backgrounds, but they still look pretty tight!

on another note, i feel like that little green car thing is a bit too all over shiny, and i know it's just on the metal parts, but the black doesn't seem to bring it down too much. maybe the green's just over shiny. maybe it'd help if you made the parts that are more in shadow than the others a bit less light stroked.

    Thanks guys

Erotopia - Yeah I think you're right, doing shiny surfaces is always tricky. I always look back at stuff and think why wasn't I bolder with it?.. Ah well if I can learn from my mistakes I don't mind making them.

The next one is a really quick study from photo ref, took about 40mins. I'm going to work on a few of these quick portrait type paintings, as well the landscapes, to try to work on my efficiency. See if I cant get the important info down quickly and still have it readable

    Fingers crossed...

    Epic fail today...

The idea was to quickly capture the essence of this portrait. She has such a beautiful face and I fucked it up. Not her face you understand, the painting. So hang back on calling the cops...

Man, you really got something going with that last one! Would love to see it finished, maybe make it a character design? With a gradient background? I would epicly love that
Very nice anatomy and perspective too

Wow, man you have a ton of skills. Your works are really wicked. I would recommend grabbing a piece of ref for the faces though, seems to be a little weak spot there.
