sorry that it took me like forever to come back to your SB I am simply lazy when it commes to writing comments as they always tend to sound like :

"AWESOME!" and "top notch !! " ...and stuff like that ...I should start to look for friends that suck at painting ...to spice it up a little ..*sigh*

My best mate and his Missus are having a baby daughter and as godfather I asked if there was anything they'd like as a gift for the family. A wonderful fairy panaorama they replied! Oh shit... Anywho I'm happy to inform you all that this will be my next project... Gulp! It's gunna be pretty complicated so I'm gunna need crits and advice galour. I plan to do a baby fairy pricess with flower crown and all the fairy folk both beautiful and strange coming to see her. Here's my first composition and value study. I plan to open it out either side, lots of glowing back light and sss. Basically it' sgunna be full on. Wish me luck!

Some great updates you have here, GEB! That fairy stuff is really different from what you did before but I'm sure it'll turn out really great. And it'll give you some level up

I really like the atmosphere in posts 461 & 457, the landscape with the baby already has some fairie look with all those mushrooms and great feeling of space.

I can only give you some crits on baby's face. It looks now like that baby is 4-5 years old. I'd recommend you to give it more place for the brain. Skull box or whatever... check out some refs from google, babies have larger forehead and I'd also make its nose shorter.

You are a real concept artist! Your SB is named "Free time fun" - do you work in any place connected with art or it's just your hobby? And also how old are you and did you study in any art school?

pebbles: I'm lucky enough to have a fairly regular supply of design work and some texture work too with a company called Mill TV. The stuff I put on here is mostly my freetime stuff and occasionally I put some work stuff up if it's been played out. I got kicked out of uni because I was a lazy drunken tit, and I started theis game pretty late after a variet of sucky jobs when I was 32. Yeah that's right I'm fucking old dude! That was about 3 years ago. I'll let you do the math

Some amazing pieces you have here.
I would suggest two things however:
Watch your values in the pieces with environment.
And try to use bigger brushes so you are forced to simplify. This thing only will improve your work skills dramaticaly imo.

    keep up the good work

    Keep up the good work!
