Seage: Thanks dude! Yeah have enjoyed this one want to do one of him in action now. Beating seven shades out of some unlucky elf! Hahahahahahahaaaaaaaaa... I plan to get back to that one as I like the way it's heading. Just so easy to get distracted. Thanks for dropping in

Smileface: Yeah man. Imagine how pissed he's gunna be with that thing dangling off his nipps all day!

The return of the dragon ~

I'd worry a little about the cold colours as you are cooling down the piece as you allow the light and mood grow unison ~ I'd either look at more energy in the action/strokes or atmosphere, or perhaps both ~ he is spitting fire after all ~

Enjoying the progress in your dragon illo, and that Orc warrior is just wild...is the shadow resolved under the Orc?(#393) It's such a strong image that I'd hate to see the eye(maybe it's just mine) jump down the the steps in the round brush that was used to create the shadow. I'm splitting hairs Geb, not a big deal at all.
As for the dragon painting, Dan L had a great note and suggestion...maybe if you're fighting too many cool colors you could introduce a secondary light source from below, nothing too intense but maybe enough to throw a hint of some reflected light into the underside of the hero, rocks, stairs...it's almost one of those things you gotta try on another layer and if it's too much then just pitch it.
Long story long, I'm rambling... great stuff

i love the dragons pose, it really shows the primal essence of the beast as it approaches the hero. I can feel how loud his roar is. good work on that.
I have always been a fan of grey paintings with spot colors. i like how you rendered the form of the orc character. I think his/her? skin could use a quick color treatment with a color layer or soft light layer and get some of the skins color to show through in the shadows. (which i see you did on this page.....i was on page 13 haha)

my two cents. lovely work as always bud, keep it up
