A bit more refining
Wow that Poseidon/sea god pic really pops now with the color change- I can tell that you're really rockin and rollin on it now. Are you going to develop the steampunk doll chow any further? (I reaaally hope you do, it's bee-yoo-tee-full )
Teundeboer: Thanks mate
Dreoilin: Cheers dude. I'm not sure about the doll. If I get time I might, though I won't do it by the deadline. Would be good to do though as I don't do many female characters and it's always good to work on your weakest areas
UmpaArt: Cheers dude, I really must make more time to finish stuff
Ricardo Robles: I really enjoyed it, I'll defo make an effort to complete it
monstertree: No worries, I think your work is awesome so that means a lot. Yeah they're pretty sweet projects to be envolved in
Ludic: very kind of you. I had a very definite idea for it eary on, which is unusual for me
gloombunny: Cheers! Again I had an image of her in mind as soon as I read the brief. Was just thinking of materials available ti that time period and the history of the Victorian age
In my effort to bring older works to conclusion, I've started rehashing my angel
A bit more and some colour
Messed with the composition I think it's working a bit better now. I'm tempted to lose the demons sword. Crits anyone?
Thinking of having the demons hand reaching toward them to add some jeopardy
A quick Conan sketch
great work man!
Man, I just love that illustration of your winged character!
Really glad you finished the archangel, I was wondering where you could take it :p. The demon looks awesome -- especially the design of the head!
Verehin: Thanks man, thought your SB was out of this world!
mike butkus: That means more than you could know, you are an inspiration for me. I'll make sure I finish it...
Deadlyhazard: Thanks dude! But no where near finished yet, still a lot of clean up to do
palladium: Thanks mate. You know that's just what this site's all about, learning from everyone else
thanks for stopping by my SB dude! I love your creature stuff, its dope! the only thing i could offer a crit on is your paintings have very dark darks and very light lights, if you limit your value ranges a bit more and bring them closer together the picture will be a bit more cohesive and those light lights and dark darks will still feel the same.
Doodle for CHOW
*scrapes jaw off of floor* man, everything on this page is amazing! I LOVE your archangel pic, it looks flipping amazing, I don't have any crits, (I just say if you weren't done with it and decided to work on it more & added the hand reaching like you said, it would look even better.)
I really like your "doodle" for beast master, she looks fantastic
Colour for Lady Magpie
Don't know why that didn't work
Trying to sort composition
... º_º ...
really cool stuff, the archangel is really cool, i'd leave the sword and just how it is. I don't think it reaching out would improve it, it's already dramatic as it is.
the last chow is sweet azz ,)))
always work from grayscale and then colour?... great sense of lighting and mood!!! hope to see more of that ,))
web : www.briandeakin.com
Went back to last composition I think it's stronger. Also gave her some gypsy charms as she needs a shaman aspect as part of the brief
A speedy to get started
Quick victorian prize fighter. A lot anatomy, colour, composition issues...
I shall feast upon your cowardice mortal!
